For me Hulk and Thanos are the two possibly being able to survive that kind of force based on their feats / hype / IG and scaling above Thors star feat itself.

At the same time I can also see why it may be unlikely.

Sigh people are trying to take that continental statement serious. Cap has survived Thanos attacks on numerous occasions.

@isocom79: no ones discounting actual feats stop crying he’s no where near continental durability wise. That’s a fact

Blah blah blah...stop discounting statements in a fictional universe and comparing them with reality. There is literally nothing to contradict Tony's statement, Rocket's statement, or the fact it in just about every marvel movies they've been referenced in are the most powerful items currently known.

They get disintegrated by the heat much less the overpressure

The overpressure of a nuke is a lot more powerful than the punches thanos hit him with and the hit Tony gave thanos or the ones that bruised him in endgame

Not really. The overpressure of the Atomic Bombs in Nagasaki was 35psi. Humans can survive the pressure, but not the heat. 400kilotons is 11.4% as powerful as the Nagasaki atomic bomb (3megatons). I'd definitely argue that Thanos would not only survive the pressure, easily, but also survive the temperature.

Thor was koed by sokovia. I don't know if it was 3 megaton power output but I will say Thor gets knocked out and Thanos is a little bit damages

@isocom79: feats > statements so cry me a river lol. They’re feats contradicts them being anywhere near continental level they’re fights are only room level, block level with stones I’m not impressed.

Crying about statement yet you just said the article on clark was nonsense Batman flat out stats he’s more powerful than a planet which >>>>>>> continental level so. Complain about that

@corruptionz: the same kitchen knife was made to cut asgardians and joutens and hasn’t failed in doing either of those.

Nevermind random nobody asgardians gold combat knifes like paper. Good lowball nonetheless

@isocom79: this is patently false, you're actually claiming the overpressure of the nuke in Nagasaki is 35 psi at the epicenter? Come on man.

The bomb was 21 kilotons, a 1 kiloton nuke creates around 2000 psi at the epicenter, you do understand the nuke in BVS far exceeds this right?

There's a lot of incorrect statements in your comment, 3 megatons?

Plus 2 different kinds of nukes too, thermonuclear vs atomic

@DammeFavour:

You might want to check your data again. Nuclear explosions aren't bursting as they impact the ground. They are all airbursts. And yes, 'Little Boy' did indeed have a blast pressure of 35psi at ground level.

Check it for yourself if you disagree.

I love how people are still wanking the statement of the IG lighting up a continent even though it's most likely hyperbole and not actually equal to AP or DC.

It's more of an Energy output feat tbh.

@nashiruu:

It isn't though. Take for example the Asgardian Bifrost. Heimdall commented in the first Thor movie when asked to keep the Bifrost open that "to leave the bridge open would unleash the full power of the Bifrost and destroy Jotunheim, with you upon it". That clearly puts the Bifrost at planetary level destruction.

As such, there is absolutely no reason to consider that the Power Stone, which is of absolute power, could only destroy a continent, or that Tony's witty comment is only hyperbole. The Power Stone is the above the Bifrost in power output.

They survive it better than dceu Clark since Thor's star feat is far above the nuke that Clark barely survived.

Off topic: isn't the yield of that nuke in Avengers 200kt?

If we go by scaling and feats, they both should no sell, but that just seems weird.

Sokovia was a low-mountain level feat. It's dozens of times more powerful than a 400kt nuke, there is no way Thor is getting KO'd.

Where did you get that the Nagasaki atomic bomb (Fatman) had a 3 megaton output? Multiple sourcesstate that it hadan output ofaround 21-22 kilotons.
