So this has been a topic for a while now with Luffy being the winner for several years.
So as the title suggest, how many Reed Richards does there need to be to finally defeat Monkey D. Luffy?
In a straight up physical fight? It would take a lot, their similarity ends only at the fact that they can stretch. Other than that Luffy has an assortment of other abilities to call upon. In a fight in general where they can use prep, probably just one. Only due to the sheer fact that Mister Fantastic is incredibly smart and would be able to come up with some kind of device to even the odds and give him a win. But in terms of just overall power, Reed is in way over his head on this one.
I was going to say just the Ultimate Universe Reed...but I may be biased lol.
What other abilities can Luffy use besides his elasticity? That's the primary one I'm familiar with
Reed can’t see Luffy move let alone react to him, however they both can’t do much to harm eachother, Reed isn’t suffocating Luffy unless the latter stands still and doesn’t move.
@whacknasty: he’s got multiple forms that increase his strength and speed to massively hypersonic levels, he has 3 different forms of Haki, one that bends the will of others, koing them, Haki that gives him armor like colossus and Observation Haki that basically gives him precog and he can ignite his limbs with fire.
They can't harm eachother aside from MAYBE suffocation
This. Both have survived worse hits than the other can dish out.
However many it would take to distract luffy while one makes some amazing weapon during the commotion
