Two should get it done. Basically dealing with Luke and Danny while also having distractions from Jessica and Matt.

@amcu: I don’t think Jess and matt are more than high tier fodder tbh.Jess can get one shotted by a shield throw and Matt should be ko after 2-3 hits from Steve. Iron fist is weak too but chi makes him Dangerous

Agreed. They're merely distractions. Iron Fist and Luke are the only threats. Mainly Iron Fist.

Honestly, a focused Danny alone could 1v2 Cap if he using chi strikes.

I'll say 3. 1 takes out everyone besides Cage and just has trouble putting him down. 2 is a maybe, 3 take him down definitively.

2 should do it. 1 takes on Cage, whilst the other handles the rest of them with relative ease.

1 might be enough depending how quickly he can take out Jess, Matt and Danny. His shield can protect him from Luke and Danny's striking. Danny using AOE would be an issue though.

You can definitely make the argument for just one doing it.

Caprain America can take down all on at the same time.

I think 1 cap would clear them out. Jessica dies first. Then, he out skills Daredevil and Iron fist, while ragdolling and bodying them, then he overpowers and knocks out Luke.

People are severely downplaying the Defenders

Only one who poses any threat here is luke cage. Since he has greater durability and possibly = strength. Except he unfortunately is horribly unskilled in combat. Steve would eventually wear him down. Jessica doesn't outstat him and doesn't fight any better than a completely untrained normal human. She is the first to go down here. Matt struggles with foes who outstat him. He's the exact opposite of steve who always goes up against foes stronger than himself. he's never been up against an opponent as strong as steve. Matt loses this matchup. Steve can just block danny's chi punches with his shield. At least I don't see any reason he could not.

He doesn't need to make contact. It can fire shockwaves, Cap is not tanking a close range impact of that caliber

The whole purpose of vibranium is to absorb/ mitigate impact. Yes if he gets hit without the shield this will do severe damage. But the only way this could happen would be if luke distracted steve enough for danny to sneak a strike in off guard.
