1 second before he gets vaporized.

Doesn't have the feats to tank the Star's full power.

It is a concentrated beam of yellow light from a star. It would empower and heal him most likely.

@georgewbush: Keep your fanboyism to yourself. The radiation drained Superman’s cell. The same thing happened to New 52 Superman. I mean... Thor was hurt by electricity...

He gets stronger. Or not, don't really think DCEU Kryptonians get stronger with more sunlight, his solar battery is gonna be full though.

If DCEU kryptonians get stronger with sunlight then forever. If not then probably as long as Thor.

@speedforceuser_: Psst, Supes got floored and disabled by a change in air. Zod and Faora too.

How weak is that?

@chazzer: Supes wasn't use to Kryptons atmosphere, neither was Zod or Faora use to Earth's atmosphere. Now, Thor, on the other hand is the "god of lighting", but got electrocuted then ko'd??? Ass backwards asf. Lmao?????

So a simple change in atmosphere can completely disable an almighty Kryptonian? That must be some very potent air. At least Thor got taken down by an actual weapon.

Very impressive.?

Superman dies on contact, any other answer is speculation, since he does not have any feats to support surviving...

Saying he survives is cute, but it is incredible wank as he almost died to a nuke, the star feat was calculated to be equivalent to 12 Tsar bombs... assuming the shown time, instead of the greater stated time.

Whether someone "should" tank something is irrelevant when their best feat, along with scaling ends up multiple orders of magnitude less.

@kingfrieza: That feat of Thor was a random ass pull. In all of the movies he was hurt by less but now out of nowhere he can take it.

It’s not just hot temps it’s hitting you very hard as well. DCEU Superman could most likely take the heat of the sun but not the force of it firing a concentrated beam of energy at him.

You know what else was a random ass pull even worse than Thor’s? Reviving Superman. Like the guy was dead, but lemme just hit that, REVIVE.

@therealvalkyrie: Yeah, it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I love Superman but he died in the previous movie and was revived in the next just to make the team look useless. Even his death was pointles, hell the whole movie became pointless.

that force is nowhere near what SM has endured on a regular basis.

Also the guy claims Thor to be herald level in durability at the end, which was stupid, but he said he messed up about that. Trust me that beam was hitting harder than anything Superman has been hit with so far.

@shafamalam:

Ummmm what? The average surface temperature of a Neutron Star is like a 1,000,000 degrees or something like that. Where did you get 5k from? Our Sun is 5k at the surface, not a Neutron Star. And like I said that wasn’t just pure heat, it was massive amounts of force as well.

Even though I think Thor can take more nukes than Superman, I think Superman can take a lot more than what was shown, as I’m pretty sure he was still somewhat weakened by the Kryptonite, and Batman’s gas stuff.

How much force was Thor hit with because I don't take the full force a star statement literally due to several reasons. The only evidence of the force is what propelled Thor and that was nowhere near what SM nosells. Thor was thrown through space which also means he encountered virtually no resistance yet the impact he had at the forge was of a less force than the force he was tearing through Nidavelir while being dragged by the Pod.

That guys has done nothing to convince me. He focused more on what a neutron star is than what's relatable to Thor's feat which is heat.

We're empowered by water, electrolytes, etc. But too much, too quick, and it can kill us.

Same logic here. Besides, Superman isn't receiving solar radiation only. He'd be experiencing much more. And to assume he can take full extent of a star because "it empowers him" is a gross assumption.
