How fast are the 3rd and 4th Raikage

High end hypersonic to low end MHS for me.

He is way above lightning timing. Even Kakashi, early on in the manga was said that he cut lighting with chidori. Half dead & almost blind Itachi reacted to lighting via using Susanoo in time.

The 4th Raikage was said in the datebooks to be „almost as fast as the speed of light“ when he uses lariat. So he can move at least at Sub Relativistic speeds.

This is the likely answer though this brings up a few questions that I always have to pose when debating the raikages and their speed.

The fourth raikage has 2 lightning release modes: V1 and V2

the 3rd is faster than either of the 4ths release modes based on how naruto had to switch to sage mode to react to him.

so when we’re talking about lightning speed, which of these is it? Which one’s the lightning timer here?

"Lightningtimers" doesen´t say much. Lightning can be between 1/10 to 1/3 SoL, so they are MHS+ or Relativistic?

How can people say he’s lightning timer, when Kid Kakashi himself is lightning timer and is only mid tier in speed? Raikage should scale to sub relativistic, given how RSM Naruto is relativistic and 8 Gates Gai is lightspeed via distorting space with Night Guy.

My guess would be:

V1 Raikage: mach 230+

V2 Raikage: mach 460+

3rd Raikage: shouldn’t be faster than V1 Raikage tbh.

Was moving nearly FTE to EMS Sasuke who has mid triple mach feats. So I would put him at high end triple-low end quad mach

Hypersonic, given that Sage Naruto was able to react at close range to the 3rd's attacks and base Madara could guard against the 4th's punches. Let's not get carried away.

At least in quad digit mach around 3000+ thats just his regular combat speed tho his Lariat is Relativistic at the least.
