Onoki is like an Island Level character with his Jinton

Kaido is well within Country levels. Even no selling a series of attacks from a stronger version of Gear 4 Bounce Man Luffy

The same attacks that could level Awakaned Doffy along with layers of his Bird Cage which could withstand impact of meteors

It's all about abilities, so someone like Kirazu or Katakuri could due to having a better fruit and thus, a better matchup against the Akatsuki, but Kaido doesn't have any real hax, so he has nothing to resist Soul Steal or Totsuka Blade/Yata Mirror OR Deidara C3 OR Hidan's Immortality OR Itachi's Genjutsu

He loses to the stronger High Tiers like Onoki who turns him to atoms via Particle Style

By on panel feats, Kaido will stop at Orochimaru during the first part of Chuunin Exam. Kaido have no means of stopping or killing an Edo Tensei Hashirama and Tobirama. Unless new feats for Kaido is shown, at the current chapter 1000, Kaido have no means of killing or stopping the Edo Tensei.

He oneshots some of the 6 Paths like Kinshiki and Momoshiki, but stops at Juubito for now.

Depends how the fight plays out. Kaido is strong enough to make it to BSM Naruto but his fighting style can have him stopping at Deidara or Oonaki.

Juubito loses to Momoshiki due to in-verse matchup, but that reasoning won't apply to Kaido because he doesn't have the disadvantage that Juubito suffers against Momoshiki, being a user of Chakra/Ninjutsu which Momoshiki negs. So Kaido could still beat Kinshiki/Momoshiki and lose to Juubito.

I think someone said it already but Ohnoki one-shots with Particle Style. Hell, Itachi shows up before Ohnoki does and he probably wins with Tsukuyomi
