Castiel hear homelander coming to take out the Winchesters but Castiel come just in time to save them

This battle is a random encounter

Fight takes place in the men of letters building

@elijahbane25: Cas has had a massive differing display of powerlevels due to amps and power-loss throughout the series.

Cas also has different angel capacities if Heaven is around or absent.

Cas also has wielded a variety of weapons. Does he have something as simple as his common Angel Blade, maybe other one-off gear, or is he slugging this with his fists?

Does Cas have any prep or additional knowledge?

Can Sam and Dean assist?

- HL coming to them should mean that he would arrive at a place that may have other SN weapons in the area that a Sam and Dean assist may prove some worth here if allowed. They at the very least have the selection of car weapons that may or may not work.

Depends on which Cas is being used. Season 4 Cas is the best match I think, as he was powerful but not OP like angel absorbed God Cas.

Cas for the past...like 7 seasons or whenever the angels fell has been ridiculously weak.

Essentially this and what luminous said to a lesser degree.

I only see current Cas winning by smite hax or catching homelander off guard with angel blade piercing.

Full juice, season 4 angel of the lord Cas? Well him just meerely showing his true form would destroy homelander.

I'm going with Castiel, but my knowledge on both is rather scarce.

In a random encounter, Cas is most likely going to have his FBI badge and an Angel Blade on hand. Homelander isn't suddenly going to know what Cas is, unless Cas tells him.

Castiel solos easily.

He can just teleport behind him and put him to sleep with a touch.

Season 6 cas would win season 7 cas stomps, current cas is hot garbage

Castiel has a lot of hax that just outright beat Homelander if he's Angel form or beyond (as in, has his Grace and heaven's blessings). But in a fight, Homelander is just beyond Castiel and would destroy Jimmy's body effortlessly.

But most of his latter forms would beat Homelander (God Castiel, Near-Arch Angel Castiel, etc.).
