High Tier Tournament (8/8)

Welcome to my high tier tournament, basically my second try to see if I can become a tournament host, because I have some ideas I want to try out for the future.

Anyway, this will be a more simple tournament, here there will be no perks, no teams and no points, just pick a character and debate. It's as easy as that.

Rules:

• No OHKO attacks.

• No BFR attacks.
• No reality or time manipulation.
• No power negation.
• No cloning (with the exception of illusion/shadow clones).
• DC cannot exceed casual planet busting and speed cannot exceed FTL.
• Telepathy can only be used to make illusions and read minds.
• No possession, mind control or any other similar ability.
• All characters must be in character.
• In each fight you will get 1 hour of prep in the battle field and basic knowledge on the opponent.
• Asides from that the only other limit on character pick is that bloodlusted Mr. Majestic should be able to beat them.
• Also in order to join you must have enough to to complete this tournament and should have at least 500 posts or completed a CaV before.

Odd, sounds like DC's upper ties have been banned but it's perfectly fine to bring out someone like Dormammu or the Chaos King.

@valor_175: I don't know what scaling you are doing but I do not think we are using the same scale my friend

that said I don't actually want to debate with Broly; I hate Broly, just the first character that came to mind

Considering the Majestic limit. Neither of those two would be applicable.

From the looks of it he is going fro characters around Superman, GL, Thor level.

@valor_175: Would she beat bloodlusted Mr. Majestic? I can link an RT if needed but he is above Supes.

@valor_175: so just because character a > character b that means you get to attribute whatever order of magnitude of power you like between them regardless of showings? I get saying that Broly has superior DC due to the rules of ki in dragon ball but that doesn't mean you get to randomly apply planets upon planets of DC to him because of it

@major_hellstorm: any limits on telepathy?

There are none? Would things like Mindrape or telepathically inducing comas be allowed?

@emperorthanos: Not sure Majestic can beat people who can do that.

I know little about Majestic. But I have seen people say he could beat Martian Manhunter(The character I'm thinking about) and he can do both those things.

@emperorthanos: He doesn't have that kind of TP resistance IMO but I will limit TP, the latter attack is already banned under OHKO.

Alright I will see your tp limitations. I would suggest lmiting to mind reading and illusions. Avoid stuff like mind control, mind rape etc.

@valor_175: Feats?

@emperorthanos: Majestic doesn't have any outright TP showings as such, but the main enemies of his people are a race of mind controlling, body possessing demons, so its kind of implicit. I don't think he can resist J'on level TP though.

@valor_175: The dimension thing seems like a BFR attack but other than that she seems fine.

@major_hellstorm: Though Just a question but which version of Thor am I allowed to use like Earth 616.

@chronicplane: You can use standard 616 Thor (without his amps), Ultimate Thor, Jane Thor and Classic Thor (not too knowledgeble on him though).

@major_hellstorm: So overall Thor's I can use are 616, Ultimate and Jane Thor (maybe Classic Thor) without his amps, Though when you say that I'd assume his main weapon (mjolnir) is allowed and the belt of strength.

@chronicplane: Yeah, that is if you want composite. It might be easier if you just get the strongest version (which IMO is Odinson 616).

They aren't high tier then.

@major_hellstorm: I guess, but can I still use the versions I've stated (616, ult, Jane and Odinson)

@darthjhawk: Not sure who that is but if he fits in the limits he should be fine. This will start when sign ups get filled, hopefully by Friday.

@major_hellstorm: Actually he may not work. I'll link a respect thread but just re-read the limits he has Power Negation and Time/Future Manip.
