I mean, Hal and Sinestro really should weaken each other, given how they sort of cancel each other out. Even with perfect teamwork.

Lanterns for the majority.

Going with the Hammer Bros. Lanterns are more versatile, but Thor and Bill are stronger and just have dumb levels of durability.

My goodness is anyone else going to give reasons? Anyways, though the lanterns are faster, more versatile and have superior energy output Im inclined to go with the hammer bros. Perfect teamwork, high durability/endurance, and they can break some of their constructs; InB4ThorDrains.

Sinestro is the weak link here actually and that is indeed saying something.

Honestly I'm not convinced any constructs either lantern putting out withstanding any half-decent hit from Mjolnir.

Do you see Sinestro and Hal working together in character? Not against the idea of them winning, but just asking.

OT: If lanterns fight properly they ensure themselves a solid victory.

Sinestro is powerful and versatile enough to keep the hammer bros busy, for a brief time, for Hal to go Krona-slaying on them. However it really comes to who plays it smarter because while I do think Thor and Bill have an edge in raw power and a great advantage in pure physical strength, the Lanterns are vastly more versatile than them, plus way faster too. If Hal is able to go all out, which I am pretty sure Sinestro can help to achieve, Lanterns should be the winners most of the times.

Team Lantern 7/10 IMO.

This is a good match up. Pretty sure Thor and Bill have higher damage output tho. Thor has damaged galactus before.

Definitely Lanterns. They are faster in combat, have enough destructive power to bypass the durability of the hammer bros and use their versatile power set in combat better. Funny how people think constructs are the only things you can do with a power ring. Even then, Hal has harmed powerful beings with constructs. I don't see any advantage the hammer bros have that can give them a majority.

@empressofdread: Well, considering op says they have perfect teamwork then yeah. It woudn't make sense to have perfect teamwork as a rule if they won't work together.

The Lanterns win, Hal and Sinestro have worked well together even whilst they've been enemies so perfect teamwork works in their favour. They have superior versatility and speed, have the energy output to hurt Thor & Bill and their constructs can stand up to all but the strongest hits from the Hammer Bros' weapons. Thor and Bill have better melee damage but that's all they hold over the Lanterns. Lanterns win 7/10.

Leaning towards Sinestro and Hal Jordan.

Strength: Its kinda hard to say Because if they collect enough ring energy they could possibly move planets (Doubt it will happen in this fight though) and thor and Beta have good lifting and attack feats, But ill give it to thor and BRB because Its unlikely the Lanterns will reach their peak here.

Intellect: Sinestro is smarter than BRB and Thor in general and to add Hal' flight and ring knowledge and his ring knowledge its to much for them.

Speed: GL and Sinestro, GL usually keeps up with other members of the JL Like superman, Flash, and Wonder woman, And Sinestro can keep up with him in combat so they should be around equal speed. I don't think Thor or BRB are slow but they aren't as fast as GL and Sinestro.

Durability: Probably gonna give this to hammer bro's, I know the Lanterns can take a lot with shields but if you can get past that they aren't nearly as durable as Thor and BRB, Thor has taken hits from Hulk a lot, Void and BRB took hits from Thor, and Silver surfer. Not saying my boys on the DC side are suckers but they cant take as much as Thor and BRB

Ability: This goes to The lanterns easily. Yes I know Thor and Beta ray bill have a lot of powers but the Lanterns can do whatever they decide to create with their rings. Look at it this way, Whats better? A lot of objects or any object you want at anytime

Close match but I believe with the Lanterns ability to create anything while being extremely fast gives them plenty of time for them to experiment and see which attacks hurt the Hammer Bro's more and when they do is when they take victory. it will be one of Hals Toughest battles though and he will be brutally injured.

Lanterns, decidedly.

Hammer bros solidly. While the Latern have a speed advantage (at least over Thor) they rarely if ever use their speed in combat, and I’m doubtful that they could tank even one serious blow from Stormbreaker or Mjolnir. Overall the hammer bros should win here.

I'd back the hammer bros. Lanterns rarely abuse their speed and even if one of them does(I sincerely doubt both of them would), Bill can keep up. The Hammer bros have great striking and can, from what I've seen, pretty easily shatter their defensive constructs, especially from a bullrush. Thor and Bill also have great Durability and can tank hits quite easily.

This is a lpng and hard fight. Ultimately Lanterns win. BRB is the weak link. He lacks versatility that Thor gained over the years.

Hal Jordan beat the crap out of a two sun Zod just about three weeks ago. He's got this.

The only way Thor and BRB are winning this is if Thor drains the lanterns' rings. If not the Marvel team gets beat down.

Still going with this. They have fairly similar raw power, and a lot more versatility thanks to the rings. Sinestro especially has creative and brutal ways to abuse his ring.
