GR solos if BFR is off the table, and even if he can be BFR'd im pretty sure he can travel through hell to get back.

@kgb725: thought the purpose of PS was to make them feel the pain of those he/she hurt? Not saying supes hasn't hurt people, but what if he stared down the pope? There would be nothing to turn against him...

GR penance stare effects anything they have done in life,

Plus GR solos supes can't hurt him plus GR can't be BFRed his bike can travel through space yeah I know lol, plus he can transport through hell aswell if I'm correct plus, GR is stronger and faster as his power has no limits

GR solos. Pre-52 Hal can solo. Team stomps regardless. Superman gets tagged all of the time. His speed is exaggerated.

Ok I am new in this Comics Vine and the DC comics and Marvel comics in my country dont exist like I know 50% of the stuff in the internet and the best way to get information is here lol.So what is BFR?How can Hal can solo it and GR not?And for the guy with the words that SM is 10 times faster.Guess what GR is 10 times faster too but olny when he is on the motorcycle that I am pretty sure nobody cant destroy it but if somebody took it GR can spawn new one LoL

@vengeance2000: BFR is Battle Field Remove, basically sending a foe away (only works if they cant return), Both Hal and GR have ways to solo, and GR's doesn't have the speed to match Supes (but it doesn't matter because of his healing factor and durability)

Basically Ghost Rider makes hellfire rain, which will hurt supes immensely gives off an omnidirectional penance stare, then while supes is balled up in the fetal position crying GR binds him with his chain, beats him up, then transports him to hell and leaves him there

Either potentially could take Superman in a one on one. Although I don't think Superman would be particularly bothered by the Penance Stare. (Morbious was unaffected by Blaze's due to his own conscience. Dr Strange it only stunned for a moment.) However, he has enough hellfire and other abilities to be as dangerous as any other demon he's faced.

GL has beaten Superman by himself before. And GR is on a whole oter level of both of them

Ghost Rider can't solo with bfr on the table.

I'd back Superman over Hal but that is at least debatable.

A point about the Penance Stare - I don't know enough about the parameters of that particular power, so I won't say whether or not it'll actually work on Superman; but it's worth noting that Pre-52 Clark has survived a similar attack before.

In JLA #7 of the Morrison run, Superman took an attack similar to the Penance Stare from the angel Asmodel. Asmodel said, and I quote, "How can you bear the scouring light of heaven? Only the purest souls can gaze upon this flame and not be driven mad!". I'm not saying both abilities are necessarily equitable, but well, Asmodel is part of the Heaven/Hell hierarchy in his universe. There's also an issue from the same run where Superman explicitly states that he's never lied to anyone in his life, as I recall.
