I dont agree with the Jungle Book movie. So what do you think?

7 Gray Wolves with one alpha male, rest female vs 1 lone male Siberian Tiger.

Battle in a typical forest like setting.

Who should win?

Well a pack of Wild African dogs can take down an fully grown Male Lion.

And they weigh like 50 pounds or even less.

I don't see why the Wolves shouldn't win here.

Tiger wins. Siberian Tiger is much bigger than a Bengal Tiger.

If all of the Wolves were male, then they could maybe pull it off with some casualties.

Siberian Tiger is bigger, but more docile than the Bengal tiger.

Wolves have some of the best teamwork strategies,I don't think making them male or female takes anything away from that.

The Wolves need to be bloodlusted or taken out of "character".

Now way in hell are they dumb enough to sit around and waste time and risk their pack's future trying to fight a Cat that big unless it was over a very large Kill.

I would say the wolves take it. They have pack strategies that would give them the win. A few would get injured or even killed, but they would take down the tiger.

Wolves. A pack of wolves is way too efficient of a killing machine for 1 tiger to beat.

One wolf could probably charge at it and distract the tiger while the other wolves rush at it's neck and torso.

A couple wolves die, but the pack wins. But as @wewlad80 pointed out, this isn't practical...

If the Wolf Pack wounds the Tiger bad enough, & fast enough, they can just wait for it to weaken significantly, then finish it off at their leisure.

Wolves win with like 2 dead

Wolves generally have one or two distract while the rest come and nip from behind... against 7, the tiger will likely get overwhelmed with small bites eventually turning into large gashes

@sirfizzwhizz: Well against large packs of Dholes. the trend was that if Tiger stood its ground and back its hindquarters against an object to protect itself, it would always force the dogs to retreat. But if turned tail and ran, it would eventually be killed. So I imagine it would be the same for the wolves. Dogs are pursuit predators and work best when the prey is running. When it is not, there is often a stalemate and Dogs tend to give up.
