from what little i know of rwby i'm willing to say Ruby wins both rounds on raw speed and ranged capabilities, though it's worth mentioning any decent Jajanken from Gon would probably knock her out cold.

I most certainly recommend it HxH is one of (If not) the best shonen anime.

Morals on, Ruby wins handily.

If Gon was bloodlusted, believing that Ruby had killed Kite, the fight would be close.

If Gon hits her, shes dead.

Gon tags her and one-shots.

Gon has the capability to move at least 60 tons. (That is 120000 pounds) He also was able to scream so loud he stunned an opponent. He also was able to crush a heavily armored Chimera Ant to death with minimal difficulty. Ruby has many good feats as well but none come close to the things Gon has pulled off.

Ruby has Crescent Rose which I believe would give her a huge advantage but Gon's Jajanken easily cancels that out. Gon was able to use his Jajanken even with a severed arm so there is no doubt Gon could apply Jajanken to the fight.

Ruby mainly can only hack and slash or occasionally snipe (which she isn't very good at anyways) and Gon has rock, scissors, or paper, (and the paper is ranged) and is overall a more creative fighter.

All that being said Ruby would probably just go all silver eyes and win. But if that isn't a thing Gon takes this after a hard fight.

Gon stomps. Ruby can't take a single charged punch, and Crescent Rose isn't piercing his Nen aura before she gets tagged.

Based on what I have seen from Gon he isn't beating Ruby, let alone stomping her.

Based on some debates about Gon and Killua, no idea how they can keep up with Ruby.

Gon is not that weak. She might hold her own for a while, but the moment he gets serious, its over.

What feats does Gon have that suggests he can keep up with Ruby and not get cut in half by her scythe?

Edit:Based on what you've said, Ruby shouldn't be incapable of keeping up honestly.

Speed-wise ? Fast enough to create after images & fast enough to catch a hyper puffball which supposedly moves at hyper sonic speeds. When he gets angry and transforms he becomes laughably faster than pitou. Neferpitou can cross 3 kilometer in an instant.

Gon is not Street Level.

Oh btw Gon lives in a verse that is at least 1374 times larger than earth with 1374 times gravity. Pistols are still serious weapons against mid to high tier characters in HxH, RWBY characters in volume 1 are casually hypersonic lmao. Also RWBYverse has far faster combat speed and Gon is not tanking her sniper bullets which she can enhance with elements nor stabs/strikes from her scythe.

Nerfing Gon to base instead of Adult Form is silly. S1 Ruby would kill Meruem

Emerald and Mercury were easily avoiding lightning in the earlier volumes.

@jjkhead: Killua intercepted fishes that were gonna kill him. And to do it, you need "light-speed reflexes". Travel speed and reaction is not the same. He will see everything that she will do and just blast him. Ruby never ever sniped people from far away. Ruby without his scyhte is literally fodder to. When Gon even gets his hand on it, he will murder her. Ruby is also kinda stupid when it comes to fighting. She is one trick pony, Gon is more experienced and smarter than her.
