Goku's UI dodging vs Saitama's Zero Punch

If a time punch (Hit) from the future can't hit someone like current SSB Goku (or suppressed Jiren), then it's not landing on UI Goku imo

I feel really stupid but can someone explain why Saitama's zero punch is impressive?

Goku might be able to dodge, although if Saitama is already going back in time he could simply wait and attack when Goku is more vulnerable.

Also, if Saitama is able to grow while reversing time, he could wait and then oneshot once he surpasses Goku's capabilities.

If Hit is anything to go off of, yes Goku can dodge this.

saitama basically created an alternate reality he desired by manipulating time.

there's no windup. it just appears instantly microseconds before it connects.

The premise is Goku is in UI, regardless of when Saitama decides to attack, so its some point after he acquired UI, and there is no chance of it landing.

Yeah if goku's already in ui he's dodging it. The hit gifs are good examples of why and goku's feats against hits time skip and time stop without having ui is another good example. Another good example is when whis rewinded time and it didn't effect goku because goku would've had to remembered what frieza had did prior which is why after time had been rewinded he immediately did a kamehameha. But even ignoring all of that it would get dodged pretty easily.

Even a normal punch would hit Goku since he still gets tagged by the likes of Gas. Zero Punch is just too much.

Good post. I remember by end of the universe 6 and 7 tournament hit had already pushed his time skip to about 1/2 a second I think. It been a while.

Goku wasn't or was barely using UI there. He can use parts of it in his weaker forms but they aren't as good as Omen or MUI.

Plus that train was being controlled by Gas so he could've thrown it extremely fast if he wanted.

Hit ability works by skiping the effect and produce the cause. You can still react if you know when and where the cause will product effect.

Saitama's Zero Punch is acasual, which means it skip the cause and product the effects. Which means it can not be avoided or reacted to because by the time you take notice you've already been hit.

I would say Saitama's punch itself is not acasual.

Acasuality happens as a result from that cause. However Saitama isn't changing anything in time except himself since his time travel involves physically sending his atoms back in time. In this case Hit sends himself forward in time for an advantage. This is essentially what Saitama would be doing from Goku's perspective.

What do you mean "Gas of all people"? He was the strongest and fastest villain at that point.

Unless you're gonna mention that shit falling on him, which shouldn't be taken seriously. Goku did actually specifically teleport Gas there at that right moment to humiliate him.

Nothing noteworthy about Saitama's zero punch. Literally just him travelling back in time so he can punch garou. From an outsider perspective, it's just some random naked bald guy appearing out of nowhere and punching garou while he's monologuing about being evil or something.

Just like Pandalumina said, Jiren and SSB Goku already did something better than that. Much less UI goku.

You'd have to be stronger than goku to bypass ui. Or have ui yourself. Someone weaker than goku isn't touching him and if you're on his level and don't have ui yourself he also isn't being touched.
