Well if we are talking about Golden Age Superman of the early issues when he was first created... then Goku could beat him simply because his powers were insanely underdeveloped at that point... but during the core years of Golden Age Superman... he was basically like Silver Age Superman almost... and that would be too much for the Saiyan to handle

i am more for silver age (like the powerful people ya know) but i love GA for what it did and how it went about doing it. "
GA has the best heroes for both companies in my humble opinion, SA has the best villains, CA or MA best stories "
i have to agree but i like both the heros and villains in silver age, but the one of the best storys i read was all-star superman and i think CA is captain America but what is MA?? (not good with initials)

ahhhh ok that makes more sense, just hate when they did pre-crisis and made alot of heros much weaker then buffed them up again but without changing the age
