Naruto uses stronger variations with more clones - not like goku uses meteor combo regularly in the first place.

finishing moves like Turtle Kick would wreck him.

And any of naruto's barrages will wreck goku, so even trade.

Also, Naruto was terrible at everything at the academy, unless you wanna show me some decent Taijutsu from Academy Naruto.

Clones are weaksauce and if all the clones jump on the afterimage what happens then? They get popped.

...Clones are far, far stronger and useful than afterimages. One clone >> all afterimages put together. And naruto can make 1000+ of those.

Their stats are equalized , Naruto really studied the battlefield before yoloing post time skip , he was a charged pre-TS tho.

a rasengan's DC would equal a kameheha or something a bit lower. and Goku never fought that much for his precon to work at that scale.(vs someone who's equal to him in speed which have the same speed as Naruto , just not his durability) Basically 1000 Narutos.

And not as far as I know he doesn't have a counter to TK(Didn't watch the last)

kyubi chakra only enter after hinata's sacrifice. He went h2h with deva path (who was massively above him in stats) when his sage mode temporarily ran out.

Goku, just all round better fighter, more experience, more training and more of a variety of abilities, I can't see Naruto pulling anything off Goku couldn't handle (or hasn't already really) a lot of Goku's skill gets ignore after Super Saiyan is introduced and it becomes more about power level but it's still there and was shown previously. I think Naruto was put up a worthy fight though.

My point was not that Naruto is as good as goku - but he is by no means a novice in the h2h category - he has trained since childhood, learned special styles, invented his own combos and so on - not an opponent that'll be overwhelmed by goku's skill - Plus, He can fill in the gap with large numbers.
