You are right because I'm pretty sure not only GT scales to the movies but also some of the movies feats (and especially fusion reborn) got replicated in GT so this is a massive stomp in base Goku favor no matter how you look at it.

@omega7373663: none of the feats get replicated in GT, but you are correct that Cooler does show up in GT so they should scale. By scaling Goku wins, but the feats in GT are inferior to what happens in the movies.

IIRC Ssj3 goku shaking the Afterlife (Galaxy level+ feat) in Fusion Reborn got replicated in GT as Base GT Goku alone shaked the Afterlife by just powering up without even going SSj3, this makes the scaling consistent and it proves that Base GT Goku >= SSJ3 goku (Fusion Reborn)

There’s nothing backing up that he shook the whole afterlife unlike in fusion reborn. Goku was in hell and shaking things as far as the grand Kai’s place, meanwhile we only know about King Yemma feeling Goku’s powering up in hell for GT. Not to mention the universal feats/statements within the same movie for Janemba Goku would scale to are tiers above galaxy level.

He shaked hell which is still a Universal sized dimension so this feat isn't much weaker then what Ssj3 goku did in Fusion Reborn and let's not forget the fact that this was base GT Goku alone, in the end that doesn't really matter GT characters still scales to the movies characters which includes their feats as well.

As I said that doesn't matter as GT Goku scales to those feats, and lol at it not being comparable to Ssj3 goku feat, Goku by powering up in base shaked both hell and King Yemma place which represents a very big portion of the Afterlife, it's still much more impressive considering this was only base Goku who performed the feat and he didn't need super saiyan transformations to accomplish,

Goku goes through multiple power ups, he fights someone stated stronger than Buu, and hold the edge on him in base. As I said, he gets stronger. If base Goku doesn't do the job, SSJ Goku will.

Base Goku was implied to be superior to SSJ3 goku since the beginning of GT let alone Shadow Dragons saga, and in Super C17 saga Base Goku alone shaked like half of the afterlife by just casually powering up (wasn't even serious) and base Goku from Shadow Dragons saga is far above that

Beating up Janemba does nothing though. The only reason Janemba died was because of Stardust Breaker. It literally erases evil. GT Goku does not have this ability, as only Gogeta has been shown to use it.

Janemba is a evil spirit. Destroying his body doesn't do anything. He can just possess someone else.

People forget just how strong Janemba was. He even broke the convention of enemies getting progressively stronger, which is pretty much a DB Staple. Janemba was stronger then enemies that came after him, even according to TOEI ( and by feats ).

He also had abilities that were later used by Merged Zamasu.. another implication of just how strong he was.

Don't get me wrong, GT Goku beats Janemba up over and over, but not sure he has any means to actually finish him.
