Vegeta, Gohan was not really at Blue level.

Vegeta stomps. He fought Base Top to a draw while Gohan and 17 combined couldn't do squat against him.

Vegeta but it’s closer than people think. He traded blows with and was stated to be equal to SSB Goku, managed to damage SSBKK Goku (though he did get one shot in the trade) and his performance against MLSM Dyspo was pretty good (Base Dyspo’s hits were able to drop Hit to his knees and Gohan tanked a stronger one right to his gut)

Vegeta. The only time Gohan had a chance against him was in the Cell Games

Vegeta should be relative to Frieza and Goku who I would say Gohan was slightly weaker to. I don't think its a stomp and I do think ToP Gohan is blue level.

He is Blue level. Stop downplaying him.

Vegeta wins in a close fight. Gohan has demonstrated in his sparring match with Goku that he is Blue level. The narrator even stated that Gohan's power rivals Goku's.

Gohan is probably in the same tier as Super Saiyan Blue, but he’s not stronger than either of the ToP Super Saiyan Blues imo. Put ToP Gohan against RoF Goku/Vegeta or U6 Tournament Vegeta and you got a great battle. But this? Nah. Vegeta takes it, low diff or no diff. Gohan was having to block a ton against Pre-ToP Blue Goku and he seemed stressed to me. Goku was calm and felt like he was testing the waters around him.

@boby501: Nah he was ahead in Cell Games until he broke his arm but even before that I think Vegeta was ahead when Trunks died.

I know a lot of people forget that moment but literally everyone thought Cell died, Gohan included. I think the only reason Cell wasn't finished right then was because he regenerated a lot of his body and put as much power into defense as he possibly could. The way the entire scene plays out has always made me think Vegeta, when rage boosted, was far ahead of Gohan even in SS2. Battle of Gods and super just reinforced my belief in it that Vegeta was the superior person at the time but he just didn't have a reason to fight until trunks died.

As for the Buu sagas it's kinda unfair to put Gohan ahead of Vegeta. He was weak through most of it, got a power up near the end then did nothing too important with it. I mean did he even fight kid Buu?
