How can we say it’s a stomp if we never seen Whis fight seriously. Whis easily evaded SSJ Broly’s attacks but that wasn’t Full Power SSJ Broly that SSJ Blue Gogeta fought.

True, but Whis knows ultra instinct, so dodging Broly shouldn't be a problem for him even if he isn't much stronger, though I do think he is a lot stronger and he probably does stomp.

@alextheboss: Well when Goku mastered Ultra instincts he effortlessly crushed Jirens strongest attack. So ultra instinct doesn't just seem to be a speed boost but also a power boost. I kind of doubt anything we've seen in the series can challenge Whis or the angels aside from the beings that are stated to be directly stronger.

Gogeta may have stomped Broly, but Whis was just playing around. Whis should take this low diff at most.

Whis dodged SSJ Broly, but at the same time, SSJ Gogeta was beating SSJ Broly, and SSJ Gogeta got stomped by FP SSJ Broly until Gogeta goes SSJB and basically becomes too muhc for Broly to handle. Fan fact, FP SSJ Broly, despite powering up again, can't even touch SSJB Gogeta at all.

So it's unknown who wins honestly, while it's safe to bet on Whis, SSJB Gogeta crushed FP SSJ Broly who is according to the novel, guide and movie => Beerus

I don't think Tori himself knows how strong Whis is yet. So far, Whis is just a plot device who can do whatever and bust out whatever power the plot needs.

Whis was literally dancing around while taunting and smiling. This still feels like a stomp in his favor.

Whis has never shown his full strength because he is THAT far away from everyone and everything else. So, why bother? That's like a basic rule of martial arts, if you are that much stronger than your oponents, there is no real reason to use all of your strength, just use your oponents' strength to your advantage, which is what Whis does the 100% of the times we see him fighting or training. And while BOTG is not entirely canon anymore, it is basically the same as when Beerus fought SSJ3 Goku, just someone massively stronger than the other, barely using any strength, letting the other guy hurt himself. When you are massively stronger than someone else, there is really no need to exert yourself, simple.

@lucano: That’s not what I meant. Whis casually beating Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus proved he was stronger. Beerus casually beating ssj3 Goku proved he was stronger. In Broly Whis only dodged ssj Broly for a few seconds, while Gogeta beat an even more powered up Broly later in the film. Whis is most likely still stronger, but he never showed himself doing something SSB Gogeta couldn’t.

Whis was always portrayed as transcend tier. He stomps.
