@keyfirstnaten: Whis confirmed Jiren was the mortal stronger than a god of destruction while he was easily blocking SSJG Goku's punches. Beerus struggled far more with a much weaker SSJG Goku in BoG. Supreme Kai stated he was more powerful than any foe they had ever faced, and this was way before Jiren fought MUI Goku. There's no evidence Beerus is stronger Jiren. There is evidence pointing to the fact that Broly at his peak was still not as strong as Jiren, considering Goku never used the SSBKK and Vegeta never used SSBE. Until a multiplier for MUI is given, there's no way to say MUI Goku isn't stronger than Gogeta.

Thought I'd drop a knowledge bomb on y'all before I go to bed.

For those of you still thinking Jiren is stronger than all Gods of Destruction based on Whis saying that "a god of destruction" cannot defeat Beerus, that is based on a somewhat incorrect translation.

DBS Episode 93 dubbed aired tonight and they translated this line as, "one of the other universes has produced a mortal so strong that their own Destroyer can't defeat them." Funimation dub is correct, "their own Destroyer" is the correct translation.

The first half of the sentence when read alone can be translated as "a God of Destruction", however that's the mistake toei subs did. They ignored the 2nd half where it specifically refers to "that one God" / Belmod.

So their own Destroyer (Belmod) can't defeat him, but another Destroyer (Beerus) can.

Evidence suggests otherwise.

1. Beerus only admitted inferiority to Mastered Ultra-Instinct, and even then he said Goku may have surpassed him.
2. Beerus has some degree of Ultra-Instinct (as seen in the Manga), but he hasn't completely mastered it yet.
3. Beerus felt confident in taking down any other form of Ultra-Instinct besides its Mastered form: When Goku achieve it the third time, he was matching Jiren blow-for-blow, but Beerus still felt superior.
4. Evidence suggests that Jiren is stronger than his God of Destruction (Belmod), but not all God's of Destruction.
5. The Saikyo Jump editorial office tells readers: "Frankly, the enemy Goku and co. are up against in this movie is the strongest. Those who trust Goku will win may lose confidence, so be careful." They also ask: "Destructive power greater than a God of Destruction?!" Which suggests that Broly is more powerful than Jiren.
6. A statement in Dragon Ball Super: Broly tells us that Broly is only a little stronger than Beerus.

So Broly is a little stronger than Beerus, but definitely stronger than Jiren.

I don't know maybe all die while Multiple Universes get destroyed in the process. This is a tough one to call but Beerus is probably the most haxed here.

SSB Gogeta >> Broly = Jiren imo . Don't know about Beerus' full power though . Everytime we think Goku is approaching his level of power , they make Beerus even stronger .

Anyways , I'm pretty sure that SSB Gogeta can defeat Beerus if he goes Kaioken . Jiren can't defeat Broly due to his ever-increasing power .

I think it would have been a fairer battle if it was Broly and Beerus against Jiren and Gogeta .

Not to mention that Gogeta could probably go UI if cornered . In this case , he soloes even if it is UI omen .

@keyfirstnaten: Beerus was shitting bricks before even MUI, he never said his superiority to UIO or normal Jiren. There's no definitive power scale to go by, only feats and Jiren has way better feats.

Beerus felt confident about defeating any form of Ultra-Instinct except its mastered form, bar-none.

Too much head canon being taken as fact. Fact is we don’t know how stronger a ssb fusion is relative to ultra instinct. We probably won’t have a definitive answer at least until we see MUI return in Super

1. Battle of Gods isn't canon anymore because it's figures do not hold up and it has been contradicted so many times. Moot.

2. We find out later in the series that Beerus was using only a fraction of his power.

You're using a fight as evidence when Beerus was using like 0.0000001% of his power and comparing it to his fight against Jiren, when Goku powered up by a huge degreee. And then treating it as fact. It's just asinine because you're ignoring how Beerus was holding back a huge amount of power.

The director for Db Super: Broly stated Goku was "pretty close" to being a God of Destruction, so he's pretty close to Beerus with Mastered Ultra Instinct. That's where it stands at the moment. But Broly is even stronger and considered the strongest opponent Goku has ever faced, which includes Jiren. Right there you know: Broly > Beerus > Jiren

Directors statement is meaningless, MUI was ever used in the movie and MUI never fought Broly. "Pretty close to Beerus with MUI" you're making that up once again.

Beerus powered up and had to use energy attacks against SSG Goku while Jiren blocks SSG with a finger and SSB didn't even phase him.

Obviously Beerus was toying with Goku but he was using at least 10 percent power, not .00000000001 like you make up.

1.ssb gogeta would beat team 2 alone.

2.broly was stated to be probably on beerus level or stronger even if hes weaker its not much becouse of the fact goku made that statement.

3.if Jiren is stronger than broly its not by that much.

Team 2 broly is the weak link

Beerus is the weakest here his strength has been retconed so much. Champa who is slightly weaker then beerus was shitting bricks at ui goku who jiren was CASUALLY combating while suppressed. Later goku was much more powerful in his ui form fighting just slightly below jiren at max who was ragdolled by mui beerus cannot ragdoll champa.
