Thor and his children vs Baldur and Heimdal
This is a good one...
Two minor Aesir gods and a major aesir god vs two major aesir gods...
I would put several variables
In sheer brute strength Thor is the superior one(Every cutscene in which Thor and Kratos struggle, Thor is shown to being able to overwhelm him or being a peer to Kratos, albeit being slower than Kratos), and won over restrained Beginning of Game Kratos even when he wasn't allowed to kill him. In his final battle it's shown that Kratos required all his legendary weapons to defeat him, so he won by versatility, equipment and experience.
While Heimdall and his time slow+mind read and speed makes him really treacherous to fight against. Magni and Modi for all purpose intended, are fodders. Baldur is the second one in strength here, his regeneration makes him really hard to put down, although I'm sure Thor can incap him as Kratos did on their first fight.
It really depends on how fast Heimdall kills Thor's sons. If he takes them on before Thor incaps Baldur, they could take him down via hax. Baldur is behind GOW4 Kratos. While Thor is stronger than GOW:R Kratos "calm" Kratos and slightly behind End of Game GOW:R Kratos, while Beginning of Game GOW4 Kratos could incap Baldur already.
Overall a scale of strength would be:
EOG GOW:R Kratos>Thor(Enraged)>Thor(Kill restrained)=BOG GOW:R Kratos(Spartan Rage)>BOG GOW:R Kratos(Restrained)>GOW4 Kratos>Baldur
While imo, Heimdall should be near Baldur's tier, but fared "better"(LMFAO) against a superior Kratos because of his hax.
Team A
Team B
There exist two most likely tactics on here.
Thor fights Baldur, or Thor fights Heimdall.
Maybe Heimdall could distract him fast enough so Baldur kills the fodders. He certainly is capable of doing that with his Slow down, and his other hax. IF they do that, Baldur would get rid of the fodder and then they could beat Thor in a 2v1. In this possibility, Heimdall stonewalls via hax, and Baldur+Heimdall could take him down.
But if Baldur tries to stonewall Thor, we go back to the possibility of Thor incapping him and then overwhelming Heimdall, who: If he fights Thor's sons, he would JOB A LOT, he knows they're inferior, and we know how he acts against such foes(against Atreus). In this pssibility, Thor carries and win due to dynamic.
Thor strongest. His sons are fodder. Heimdall hax carries and Baldur is the tank of his team.
If Thor rapidly incaps Baldur, and aids his sons they certainly win. If Baldur kills Thor's sons and Heimdall stone walls they could possibly win
@eredin12@cryolancer47@thenamelessgod@thenamelessone what do you think?
Thor solos , Kratos in God of war 4 one shotted Magni the moment he got serious and Modi was mostly featless except abusing a little lightning in one scene after catching Kratos offguard , Baldur was also clearly inferior to Kratos in the final fight , Thor killed a stronger Kratos with a hammer to the face in the first fight and then you add in Heimdall's time and precog powers and team 2 take it easily.
@thenamelessone: didn't Heimdall has those powers by default?
@thenamelessone: didn't Heimdall has those powers by default?
Yea , thats why Heimdall on top makes it an even easier fight for Thor.
Thor solo stomps.
Heimdall is fodder and too dumb/delusional with inferior stats. He gets tagged and dies.
End of Game Kratos actually had to put tons more effort against Thor than he did against Heimdall in both a physical confrontation. And just to tag Thor.
Baldur can't compete at this point. And unless he's pre-mistletoe. He dies horribly without his regen to save him.
Thor is by far the most powerful here, has the most strength by a large margin imo (as he often overpowered Kratos actually consistently so), most raw power, best weapon and is arguably up their with skill (when not drunk).
One way or another he’s going to be the winner of this fight even if Baldur has his curse and Heimdall can dodge for a while.
