gildarts physicals even prior to EOS or Time skip was already far superior to Tsunade much less considering his Magic ability being so cheap, his durability is also extremely high as Natsu fire which is Town Level+/Comparable to Zancrow barely gave him a tickle.
Tsunade is also a direct fighter with nothing else but punches and kicks even with equalized stats she still gets pretty much stomp.
Tsunade is screwed over in most of her fights because shes just a brawler fighter. She will lose here to Gildarts with mid-diff for exactly that reason. Unless she was composite than like many Naruto Characters she could possibly stomp that get it the other way around.

It wasn't town level, lol. It was large building or city block at most.
There is no strength comparison here. Fairy Tail physicals >>> Naruto physicals on average. Tsunade's feats of strength would be considered low tier in Fairy Tail.
I think Gildarts has the potential to beat her as we've never seen him go all out, but he lacks serious feats. A lot of people say he wins, yet no one has posted a solution towards him overcoming her insane regen. From what we've seen so far, he goes down from an acid attack, or a punch.

Only feats Gildarts has is casually one punching a mountain and beating people in one hit because of his crash magic (except August because he's August). His crash magic turns anything it hits into pieces, along with turning humans into weak hundreds of miniature versions of themselves, and he can just stomp on those versions.
@dimitri1220: him using his crash magic on Tsunade seems more advantageous for her then anything. While she's smaller, her strength shouldn't change as it's chakra enhanced. One of the tsunades can also summon katsuyu, which can spray acid on him.

lets start with Jiraiya first, Databook states his Rasengan can Carve a MOuntain, so lets assume a AVerage Mountain of 609m, his Rasengan Size and Carving that makes it a Multi City Block Feat, that is also under the assumption that Jiraiya is not supplying energy/charkra to the rasengan while carving if so that wont count as just one attack and that the meaning of carving is from Top to Bottom, even if you assume MT Everest height Mountain is still merely a Town Level feat, for it to be Mountain Level as people think it requires Jiraiya to be at least severa tens of thousands of times stronger.
Konohamaru Rasengan is not a normal rasengan but his own version of a wind Nature Rasengan, same with Boruto.
Raikage could only Crack Madara Susanoo after being enhanced by Onoki, his regular Physicals could barely nick Rib Cage from tired out Sasuke.
Tsunade along with her fellow 4 Kages pissed their underwear at Madara cutting a couple of mountain tops.
Only very selective few of Naruto top tiers (apart from god tiers) who are mountain level, and even then these top tiers have to use their best Ninjutsu techniques to accomplish that. They sure as hell can't bust a mountain with raw physicals.
Gildarts spite-stomps the 5 Kages and Sannin at the same time.
