Who wins and why?
@sy8008: Did I go wrong somewhere? I didn't think that'd be his opening move.
@decaf_wizard: agreed.

Doesn't need to be. Genos wouldn't hold any advantage in direct combat, so eventually they would come up.
Midnighter cuts him in half with a door
wich would do nothing to genos he can put himself back together with ease.
as for the fight i have no idea who wins i know nothng about midnighter.

Ok he cuts him in half lengthwise then
@rickyrck: Not if Middy also teleports half of Genos into the antarctic.
@saren: He's supersonic/hypersonic with city+ energy projection. I'm not seeing why he couldn't just nuke one-shot Midnighter before he could Door him.
The thing with Middy is, if there's any possible way for him to win at all (which here certainly is), he will.
Exactly. And he's taken on tougher opponents.
The thing with No Limits Fallacys are...they never made sense to begin with.
@masterskywalker: @thewatcherking: Do you read Midnighter comics are or you sjust assuming it is an NLF?

I have read some of his post flashpoint comics and have been in a CaV against that version of midnighter so I do know very well what he can do.
@masterskywalker: @thewatcherking: Do you read Midnighter comics are or you sjust assuming it is an NLF?
I've read bits of his N52 run and some Wildstorm comics years back but that doesn't have anything to do with knowing the characters capabilities overall.
@thewatcherking: @masterskywalker: That explains it. Wildstorm Middy has a feat of winning a fight with only 1 in 10,000 odds of success.
@king_hellstorm: Now, is that consistent for him across the board or is it a one time non replicated instance that gets hyped to holy hell?
@masterskywalker: It's one of the few times Middy says his odds of winning. But considering how he wasn't even dealing with a particularly powerful opponent, I'd say it is consistent since he has better feats such as fighting against all of Stormwatch.
@king_hellstorm: Do you have the issue for citation?
@masterskywalker: Of him fighting Stormwatch? Yeah. Of his 1 in 10,000 feat? No. I do have the scan on my PC though but I am on mobile rn.

I forgot this was composite, I still see Genos winning this though.
Either Midnighter BFRs Genos with a door into space or Genos incinerates Midnighter.
@lvenger: he can use his boosters to propeller himself towards the ?. We have seen how much more fire power he has compared with rl rockets, and he's also vastly lighter than those rockets. He should be several orders of magnitude faster than RL rockets, and reach the ? within minutes. And he has feats which put him at hypersonic++ speeds even on earth. In space he should be much faster, as initially there would be no air to slow him down, and the Earths gravity would accelerate him even more. Even regular humans can survive a minute or more in the vacuum of the space, and he's more a machine than human.
If would be a really bad PIS if he would be unable to come back from the space.
Midnighter could, for all intent and purpose know how to win, but he would also have to execute the conditions required to win. The NLF-wankesque approach regarding his battle computer seems to ignore the fact that Midnighter really can't operate outside of his physical capabilities. Against certain opponents he is required to be "more", simply put. I suspect that Genos is above his average paygrade.
Genos vaporizes him.
He doesn’t have lungs so I don’t see how that’s possible.
Midnighter's power and skill set makes him perfect for taking on opponents above his paygrade, which Genos is not. Midnighter just dodges or teleports away from his blasts and then Genos gets arrogantly beaten down once again.
Even if he couldn't win in a straight brawl for some reason, he'd be aware of this and just teleport Genos into the Sun, or something equally deadly.
@maestromage: The speed gap is pretty large, I don't think Midnighter can dodge.

Is it? How fast do you think Genos is?
Either way Midnighter has insane precog and teleporation, I find it hard to see him failing to get away from ranged attacks.
