• Garou is hurt and resting in the cabin, and Arima shows up to kill him.
• Garou has basic knowledge on the Arima
• Arima has extensive knowledge on Garou
• Win is by death/KO/complete incap.
• Prime Arima
• Standard gear
• Manga/anime feats for both

Garou wins. After taking down the A class, he had enough juice to go up against Genos, take a beating from Bang and Bomb and still keep fighting. Arima can't put him down.

Garou wins. His minigun feat puts him at a level of combat speed that mean Tokyo Ghoul characters would be statues to him.

He adapted past Death Gatling to become that fast.

Arima's only hope is hitting Garou with lightning before he starts adapting.

He was keeping up with Genos, who just got an upgrade after his fight with Awakened Cockroach and Gouketsu. There's no reason why Garou can't keep up with Arima.

I don't remember Arima doing anything impressive enough to beat Garou.

@lichvanastrea: True, but when he first came out of the cabin, B class heroes were keeping track of him and keeping up with him to an extent. Arima is leagues faster and more skilled than every hero there.

@kingcrimson: Those weren't just B Classes, there were also A Class heroes there too. And they were only keeping up because Garou's mind was all over the place. After he regained focus, he started stomping everyone.

Garou’s in the exact same position here. If his mind was all over the place then, it will be here too - Arima is just replacing the hit squad. The question is really whether Arima can kill Garou before he adapts beyond him.

@kingcrimson: But if we're including manga feats then Garou stomps, due to his speed. The only reason why Garou was losing focus to begin with was because he was poisoned and was being ganged up on. With it just being Arima though, he has a much better chance at winning.

Even if you were to equalize the speed, I don't see Arima carrying anything in his kit that is powerful enough to kill Garou.

@lichvanastrea: What speed feats did he have prior to that fight that make him so untouchable? He was tagged by bullets and arrows in the A-Class fight, and B-Class heroes managed to keep track of him.

Literally everything Arima carries could kill Garou lol.

And during the fight, he was evading all sorts of weaponry here while he was losing focus.

Then once he regained himself, he evaded a ray of bullets from Death Gatling.

@lichvanastrea: The Goldenball feat is impressive, but that doesn’t change the fact that he *was* tagged by bullets and arrows in the A-Class fight, which is the fight this battle is mainly focused on.

The feats of him evading weaponary and aim dodging Death Gatling is cool, but nothing Arima couldn’t easily replicate.

Any one of his quinques have the feats to cut Garou in half or spear him through his head, if they land.

I mean it doesn't matter if Arima could replicate it, seeing that Garou's capable of evading and deflecting such attacks.

That's only if he lands the attack, which I can only see happening if the speed was equalized.

Arima doesn’t need speed equalised to tag this version of Garou.

@kingcrimson: I had already said that Garou was able to tag with Genos, who's already been able to tag with hypersonic characters such as Sonic and Awakened Cockroach. So unless you're under the assumption that Arima is as fast as Garou, I don't see how Arima is tagging him without the speed being equalized.

@lichvanastrea: By your rationale, Garou can’t be touched by anybody with sub-Genos level speed, and the fight with the A-Class should have been over in half a second with Garou blitzing everyone.

He never, because he evolved past Death Gatling in that fight to get faster, to the point where he kept up with Genos. At the start of the A-Class fight, regular joes tracked, kept up with and tagged him - Arima should logically be able to as well.

@kingcrimson: They were only keeping up because Garou again was not focused. Dude was poisoned. The moment he regained his consciousness, he started blitzing everyone. It shouldn't be a stretch that Garou would have such speed considering prior to that, he was capable of evading and tagging with Metal Bat, another hypersonic character.

@lichvanastrea: He was tagged repeatedly before he was poisoned - he was battered and had a fever which is why he was struggling. Again, he is in the same condition for this fight against Arima, so that needs to be taken into account.

What hypersonic feats does MB have?

@kingcrimson: Because there were too many things happening to him at once. The moment he got shot in the leg is when he starts getting ambushed. This is just him and Arima, however.

As for Metal Bat:

@lichvanastrea: Sure, but Arima is leagues faster than any hero there, and his quinques allow him to set traps on the fly that come from the ground to give Garou other things to worry about, similar to the heroes situation.

None of MB’s feats there are even close to hypersonic as standalone feats. Unless you’re talking about scaling him to Garou, but then you’re saying that Garou is hypersonic because he’s fought hypersonic opponents, who are only hypersonic through scaling to Garou? Circular logic.
