Interesting... I want to say Gambit has a slight edge, but it's close.
Liu Kang.
Any brief explanations why you think so?
@impervious: I feel he has an egde in agility and speed that'll allow him to dodge most of Kang's attacks while being able to put him down with just one or two explosives.
@mee09: composite Liu Kang as in a Liu Kang with feats from the original and 2011 reboot timeline (excluding non canon endings, Shaolin Monks, MK vs DC and MK comics that weren't made by DC). Never seen those feats before. mind providing evidence of said feats?

BTW if you compare the size of the Boulder that Ermac threw at him to actual boulders. It would weigh near a thousand tons.
@mee09: that video's title literally says that it came from Shaolin Monks which as I've said to you before, isn't considered canon like the majority of the feats used in that CAV. I'm only considering Canon Original and 2011 reboot timeline (including DC's MKX comics and excluding Non Canon Endings) feats for this thread.

Uh...that's not "composite" Liu Kang then.
IDK who would win since I don't have a working knowledge of current Gambit. That being said, Liu is obviously more skilled than any Gambit I've seen before, faster, physically stronger, and more experienced. I'd give Liu the edge, but ehh...I'd like to see some arguments for the other side.

FYI: I wouldn't bring up "canon" and "non-canon" as it pertains to Shaolin Monks as there are plenty of arguments and proofs that can show that it is indeed canon. Anyway, you've said they are out of bounds for this thread (your thread) so that should be enough.
Again though, since you've barred SM, and many of the old comics, from the debate, I'd just take out the term "composite" from the OP as that is why these things are being brought up.
