No I just looked the characters up and it seems like team 1 wins. It says that shatterstar can lift 5 tons.

Well, team 2 does have the fighting skill advantage; although, I don't know by how far since i know little about shatterstar. I can't help but think Gambit could really make the battle end in one or two moves.

I have to go with Shatterstar and Gambit. Cap's spirit will be crushed after Gambit charges up his shield and makes it blow up. j/k

Im not sure if Cap America's shield would be destroyed with that; it would probably just release the energy, but it would end intact, just like gambits staff.
