Didn't Ghost Rider beat him before with the penance stare? Is this an average starving Galactus or fully fed Galactus?

Ghost Rider pwned him on the cartoon. But I'm not sure that was legit. As for him trying the stare on Big-G..... not sure what would happen. If it didn't work, he'd become a Herald.

@kgb725: well if you think about it, we need to kill people otherwise the planet is over populated, but murder is still a sin. I guess the definition of a sin comes down to your religion. Ghost rider is an agent of God. So I guess if God deems GL's antics as a sin then itd work.

It has been stated twice that Galactus doesn't really have a soul to manipulate like ours. His soul, as well as his heralds, are replaced by the power cosmic. The soul gem itself couldn't effect Galactus, I highly doubt penance stare would do anything to Galactus.

Ghost Rider wins just like the cartoon.

People say that Galactus does not have a soul, maybe he doesn't, but he has a mind. Every time that I saw Ghost Rider use hell fire on a victim they were crying from their head or their mind from the pain. The hell fire affected the victims mind/head and these victims would recollect all the issues they gave THEIR victims and AGAIN Ghost Rider's victims would suffer for all the viciousness his victims would provide to others.

I provided REAL NEWS via scans that actually show that Silver Surfer has a soul.

Now your lying eyes will tell me that Thor does not have a soul and if he has a soul Odin has a soul.

Anyway, if you do recall, my original answer to the post referred to Galactus not being affected by penance stare stands correct. That scan, as a pointed out above, directly infers that Galactus and others imbued with the power cosmic don't have souls as we understand it. Simple as that. A similar concept is followed up in the Thanos run when Thanos explains that the soul gem will not work on galactus. That Thanos run laid the groundwork for annihilation. Meaning the idea of their souls has very likely been rewritten, as tends to happen in comics.

If you want to believe that Ghost Rider could take on cosmic entities like Galactus and Surfer, go right ahead. But telling me that the scan and my deduction based off the scan is "fake news" is just logically incorrect. Soon enough power cosmic as described in Annihilation may be retconed. Comics change buddy, sorry lol.
