Galactus vs. Dr. Manhattan
This has probably been done before, but both are at their peak, with their normal abilities.
They just happen to be strolling down the same path in the galaxy, who wins?

@spiderbuck1: Dr Manhattan curbstomb.
Dr Manhattan is outside space/time.
Galactus wrecks but DC Rebirth implies that things could change.
Oh no. This might be one of those rare times I'm going to have to read a comic book and hope for the best. I kind of don't want to because I love Dr. Manhattan as is. I wouldn't want to see him get punched in the face real hard or erased from reality by some dumb magical artifact. He's just not that kind of character and doesn't fit such story telling. It would completely destroy the mystery to his existence.
He has such a compelling personality because he chooses to keep himself on the sidelines and we know so little about him. Now he's going to get forced into stories and the more he gets used the less interesting he will be. If he's going to be a villain that would be even worse. He was the kind of character who if he decided to will it to be so it would simply happen and there would logically be no stopping it.
Is said to be equal to the abstract entity Eternity, moves an entire Galaxy across the Universe, calls Skyfathers 'little gods' and 'mere'
,
Galactus has a light snack
Manhattan meddling on the scale of the entire new 52 puts him on a different scale of power than busting a tank.
It remains to be seen.
Waiting on the aftermath of Rebirth...
Been done and Galactus absolutely curbs
Big G stomps as of right now
Galactus wrecks but DC Rebirth implies that things could change.
Galactus stomps as of now, but seeing what DC is doing with Manhattan there's a chance this could change.
Galactus wins. Big G's got years upon years of experience and feats over Manhattan. I doubt it'll change with Rebirth
@batmanprep: You're joking right?
I haven't read DC rebirth so my opinion is simply based on Manhattans feats in Watchmen. This is a huge mismatch. Forget Galactus. Can Manhattan even beat his heralds like the Silver Surfer? I doubt that.
@toratorn: You should probably use spoiler blocks.
@elijah_c_washington: fixed. I thought that since Rebirth and JL #50 came out, like, two weeks ago, most people have already read the books.
@from_beyond: What I'm about to say is very controversial, but here it is. Also, spoilers.
In Rebirth it is strongly implied that Manhattan is the guy who changed the DC universe. When the New-52 began, he reached his hand in and removed 10 years from their timeline, weakening them and their bonds to each other. He may have also removed love, whatever that means. He also one-shots Pandora, and Wally West (the real one) describes him as more powerful than Reverse Flash and even Darkseid. In Justice League 50 Owlman gets the Mobius chair, but he and Metron are atomized, presumably by Manhattan. Keep in mind, while Metron sat on the chair he was completely unfazed by the Anti-Monitor's attacks. I'd say Manhattan defeating Surfer is a very good possibility at this point.

If he is capable of doing all that and is more powerful than Darkseid, then yes, there is a very good possibility that he can defeat Surfer. I really should get DC rebirth and read it. It sounds fascinating.
Manhattan one-shot Pandora, Owlman on Mobius chair and Metron. For reference, Metron on his chair was not fazed by point-blank blast from Anti-Monitor and survived COIE Anti-Matter Waves. In fact, he has the firepower to beat Galactus.
From what I understood, AM's power can't hurt the Mobius chair, not because he isn't powerful enough but because of something else. Wonder Woman pulled Metron off with his lasso with no problems. So Wonder Woman > Anti-Monitor?
@sirneko: pulling him from the chair and hurting him are not the same things. His ass is not glued to the chair, but he is protected by it from the harm. Most harm. IIRC there was nothing to actually imply he is only immune to AM's powers.
Plus Metron is still a New God. Killing him is not an easy task.

No I was right, I re-read the issue, Metron flat out stated that AM's anti-matter doesn't affect him because of the chair.
Moments later Grail hurt him badly with a casual blast making him bleed. We can also see from that picture with Grail's blast the chair starts breaking apart.
@sirneko: yeah, but Metron also survived all multiversal reboots unharmed, as was shown in that very issue. And not all of them were caused by Anti-Monitor. Grail's Omega Beams hurting him is consistent with her Beams' other showings: breaking Diana's gauntlets (while Darkseid's OB failed to do the same) and disconnecting amped Darkseid from ALE. Her beams were always that powerful for whatever the hell reason.
@elijah_c_washington: @sirneko: does not change anything.Lifebringer curbstomped 2 ABSTRACTS. Respectively these Abstracts were slightly above Well fed Normal Galactus levels.

IIRC(I don't wanna go read it again) he only showed surviving AM devouring an universe and even then he might have just teleported out. If he can be pulled and blasted off the chair a universal blast would kill him.

I never read any stories with Grail in them. Is she a pretty decent character, or just a plot powered Villain Sue.
