R2: Silver Surfer warns the New Gods about the invasion, New Genesis have three days prep and limited knowledge on Galactus.

In round 1, New Genesis becomes Galactus' lunch. About round 2, I have no idea what could the New Gods do with that prep time.

Round 1: New Genesis falls. They'd put up one heck of a fight, but they'd fall nonetheless.

Round 2: I'm sure they find a way to repel him. I mean, the heroes of Earth have always found ways of keeping him at bay, I'm sure the new gods could too.

Round two New Genesis' best bet is to hide, but that's not really winning.

Round One: Galactus and his Heralds have too much power on their side. Silver Surfer is MVP obviously, but all of the other Heralds are powerful as hell. New Genesis has heavy hitters like Highfather, but the Heralds, let alone Galactus are just on another level.

Round Two: With the tech New Genesis has at their disposal, they can easily find a way to best Galactus.

@kgb725: Depends on how hungry Galactus is. The Avengers, Fantastic Four, and Dr. Strange KO'd him in the Eighties or Nineties without the Nullifier.

I know it's a really old post, but heroes rebelling Galactus in the traditional sense has exclusively(AFAIK) happened pre-Trial Of Galactus where he was established as a Cosmic Entity and has been much more powerful ever since.
