Gaara the far combat type fighter vs neji the 98% close combat fighter who wins this??

gaara takes it if he didnt have his sand and it was close combat neji takes it but nejis style of fighting cant cope with gaaras sand

Yeah it looks more to gaara cause unless neji can deflect charkra out from every piece of sand then have to go in to gaara lol he would use up alot of charkra.

ok is this chuunin exam Gaara and Neji, or Shippuden Gaara and Neji because thats makes a great deal of difference, Gaara as of Shippuden has been greatly depowered, no longer carrying the 1 tailed fox reduced his sand control. Neji on the other hand is a Jounin, with greater speed and more powerful techniques. He has his ultimate defense which can stop pretty much anything. He also furthered his Gentle Fist technique and speed, making him a great threat to Gaara

i say neji in chuunin and shippuden, with the byukugan he could see the weak points in the chakra flowing threw the sand and counter, and with the heavenly spin i dont really see the sand coffin working on neji either
