After the events of Halloween 4, Michael is considered a Federal Supernatural threat. He then is taken by S.H.I.E.L.D. and froze over to be kept away from the public. However during the events of "The Avengers" he had been unfrozen due to an "accident." He then is dropped from the cell he was in and crash landed in New York, primarily Hell's Kitchen where he wakes up years later with the same goal. To kill anyone who gets in the way of killing his family. During his time there Frank has already gone through his entire battle with Jigsaw. Nick Fury tells him about Michael and to take him out. Michael learns about frank due to over hearing people's conversations about "The Punisher." One night in hell's kitchen Frank has told left Michael a message to come to the abandoned warehouse because he has "Jamie." Michael is blood lusted but cautious, as for Punisher.
