random encounter, fight takes place in NYC, who wins?
Fox Magneto vs MCU Thor
Thor Eats his own Hammer, The Chosen battleground also practically being Drowned in metal just secures the victory
Show us that Mjolnir is made of metal.
Throws mjolnir then gets it and a crap ton of debris thrown back? I agree
Thor survived a city-level explosion at point-blank range. You think debris is going to do anything but annoy him? Lmao
Yeah, Thor gets wrecked. He has no chance with or without his hammer for different reasons.
Such as?
@richardkarstark: Damn ... That escalated quickly.
Show us that it's not. It's just asgardian metal, and Mags can control it in the comics.
Forged from the heart of a dying star. Your turn. Show us that it's made from Metal.
How does that prove it's not metal...
Because it's forged from a star. That in no way says that it was forged from metal. The burden of proof now shifts to you.
@richardkarstark: lol....it was forged making it metal. It was forged IN the heart not FROM it
@richardkarstark: Considering the core of a dying star is made of iron. I'm pretty sure it's metal.
Show us that it's not. It's just asgardian metal, and Mags can control it in the comics.

"To forge" definition:
make or shape (a metal object) by heating it in a fire or furnace and beating or hammering it.
Please notice the underlined words.
I think everyone has forgotten what metal and Lightning can do, mags may hit him with some debris or not given Mjolnir, but this mags is going down. Lightning end of story, mags can't tank it...
@richardkarstark: lol....it was forged making it metal
Um, no.
Mjölnir, forged in the heart of a dying star.

@richardkarstark: @bladeoffury: Incorrect. Mjolnir is uru metal. Mjolnir was forged INSIDE of a star. Not forged from a star.
Just use Google images: Can Magneto control Mjolnir?". You'll see him controlling it. And it calls Mjolnir metal
@p00ty: damn it pooty wanted to see what he was gonna make up
@richardkarstark: @bladeoffury: Incorrect. Mjolnir is uru metal. Mjolnir was forged INSIDE of a star. Not forged from a star.

Metal would melt inside the star. Therefore it isn't the traditional metal that Magneto is capable of controlling. The movie directly contradicts the comics, and the process used to create Mjolnir; therefore, Magneto being able to control it in the comics has no relevancy within this thread.
@richardkarstark: yes the star is just the heat source to reshape the metal
@richardkarstark: again what material would you make it? The star? Purely magic? Hit me with it
Exactly. It doesn't matter where the metal was forged, it's still a metal.
Our Sun is about 10,000 (10 thousand) degrees F -- much cooler than the hottest stars. Steel is just the element iron that has been processed to control the amount of carbon. Iron, out of the ground, melts at around 1510 degrees C (2750°F). Steel often melts at around 1370 degrees C (2500°F). Therefore, it isn't the traditional metal found on Earth. Magneto can't control it.
My bad. Didn't see that y'all corrected him already
I corrected you.
Exactly. It doesn't matter where the metal was forged, it's still a metal.

Adamantium isn't a traditional metal found on earth and Magneto could control it.

What do you think it's made of? Stardust?
You do know many of the elements found on Earth can be found all over the universe, right?
Mjolnir is made of metal.... A metal not on our periodic table, but metal nonetheless.

You think it's made of metal? Inside a star? That's a logical impossibility because the metal would melt.
Case dismissed.
Prove that uru would melt inside a star.
You stated that Mjolnir was forged. The word forged is only used metal.
Define forge: a place where objects are made by heating and shaping metal.
The mere definition of forged tells you it's metal.

Of course Uru isn't a traditional metal. It is an extremely durable metal with magical properties than can survive the heat of the star. Mjolnir was forged from Uru inside the star. It wasn't made from the star.

And what does being forged in a star have to do with anything? Does it somehow make it unaffected by electromagnetism?
@p00ty: ?? we're in agreement dude.

Uru is a metal ore in the Marvel Comicsuniverse. It is unique to the Nidavellir one of the Nine Worlds.

I've proven that metal would melt inside a star. It's made of Uru because metal would melt.

How can it be metal if metal would melt inside a star?

Metals have different melting points. What is the melting point of uru?
