The Fantastic four have all their movie feats
Fight takes place on the Airstrip
Who wins
Fantastic Four. I feel Doom would have beaten Ares straight up, and they still beat him. Johnny can reach temperatures of the sun, and Sue is strong enough to hold that power all back. His stretching powers are far better than the recent remake, and I am not sure what Ares will do to the Thing. More importantly, this team actually has some thinking and teamwork feats.

This. ^^
What evidence do you have that heat “doesn’t do shit to him”???
Jonny reaches heat levels far and above anything I’ve seen ares face, unless I’m forgetting something.
Human Torch solos.

@theonewhopullsthestrings: "temperatures of the sun" is much lower than that of lightning tho if its the surface temperature and iirc it was. Still HTs heat is continuous unlike lightning so he should be able to burn Ares.

Vastly different concept between flash heat and continuous heat. Even if such flash heat is intense, and in this case - it isn't even that much more intense. This was not surface of the sun heat (which is less), and if Sue didn't contain it, "would catch the atmosphere on fire".
There is so much difference here, I don't think that bringing up lightning is remotely justified, it is so far beyond the point it isn't funny, nor is it nearly as impressive to do or sustain against.
When Reed measures Jonny’s powers in fantastic four (2005) he measures 4000 kelvin.
The hottest part of the sun is 4800 kelvin.
And Jonny got better with is powers over time, to the point of burning up the earths atmosphere and defeating Dr Doom with surfers powers.
I’m glad Ares can stand in a diesel fire, but it’s the height of No Limit Fallacy to believe he can’t be affected by heat, because he tanked some low level explosions.
Jonny is also massively hypersonic.
I’d be willing to CaV this all day.
Ares wins zero outta ten.
@theonewhopullsthestrings: Doom was featless. He would lose to MCU cap.

Wait the burden of proof that Jonny can hurt Ares with his fire is up to me??
I just provided a quantifiable damage output feat from human torch, far surpassing anything Ares has been able to take. Double according to your estimate of the melting point of ares’ armor.
Do you think Ares can take any amount of heat based damage? NLF
To your other points, yes, yes Jonny did get hotter than that in the movies. Look up what kinda heat and power it would take to ignite the atmosphere..... I just did, and hint; not even our greatest nukes could do it.
Lastly, Jonny’s speed most definitely would be a factor, as ares showed repeatedly he not could react to, or even perceive WW at her fastest. Jonny is hypersonic in reactions and perception, as evidenced by his fight with surfer.
I also just rewatched that WW vs Ares fight. If you think ares ‘tanked’ the explosion of a dozen “sick grenades” then we may differ on our definition of ‘tanked’.
He put his hands up, got blown back, and was outta the action for a minute. He then covered himself in armor.
I think this is more than enuf evidence to show that Ares isn’t completely immune to that kinda attack.
Looks like we are at that point where neither of us are going to move the other off his position.
I’ll finish by saying I can “tank” 100 degree temperatures, that in no way means I’m immune to higher temps.
Ares can ‘tank’ steel melting temps, the idea that he can tank any temperature or heat based attack is the very definition of NLF.
Humantorch has clearly far surpassed anything he’s been able to take.
the ff win the silver surfer could do everything that ares could and more and
what did ares lift that weighed 22000 tons sue lifted the london eye and which weighs that much and sure ben helped but lets over sale how much ben held and give them each credit for half that is still 11000 tons each what did ares do that was near that
