Cable has nothing on this level. You can see how fast the ship is crashing beforehand and Quill sees it in slow motion and moves Old Groot out of the way.
I don't know about being quicker on the draw
He was quick enough to fire Korath before he could react (he can react to throwing knives).

Cable really cannot do anything about a Gravity Mine and I could see one of Quills nades busting the shield to be honest.

Ah. Well let me point something out real quick. I view Guardians 1 & 2 Peter differently because of the whole "part Celestial" thing. But even so, I'm not finding those gifs you posted impressive. The velocity of Korath's blast seemed slow in comparison to the average gun, and all Peter did was fall back down from what I see. Nothing about that second gif indicated that Peter saw the ship in slow motion, and instead the slow-mo was used to emphasize what happened in the scene. And honestly, it doesn't seem out of the norm of a human fight-or-flight response. Nothing about that Gamora gif is impressive to me. I'm ignoring it. And I don't really know what happens in that last one.
As far as Cable's gear, it's guns -- he has quite an arsenal lol. Including one that's pretty much an instant kill. He has grenades as well. And calling him fodder is ridiculous considering he beat Deadpool and Domino, even with her luck. He also displayed telekinesis (I don't remember how many instances, but he did use it in the prison scene). As far as his shields, they were strong enough to tank his own grenades, so there's that.
@indomitableregal: Guardians 1 Peter still held onto a raw power stone for more than 30 seconds, not really any difference. He dodged the blast by falling back, what is so wrong about that? Its actually more impressive than side stepping it. The gif format I used slowed it down for some reason, here it much looks faster.
More feats for Koraths/Sakaarans guns.
Nope you can see the speed of the ship when it crashes in, purposely being accelarated at high speeds by Rocket and its slowed down to see Drax/Ronan get hit and Quill is still able to sprint and move Groot out of the way. Theres no way it would've just got that much slower. And by the way do you have anything from Cable which surpass these? Tanking hits from a Captain America level opponent in strength? How is there nothing impressive about that? You can see him surviving an explosion... don't try and "ignore" it because its ridiculously good.
Can you post their feats, it been a while since I've watched deadpool 2 but I know one had a sonic blast . I've already explained why a gunless Cable is a fodder to Quill. His telekinesis is low level and he doesn't use it combat.
I still can't see his shield being stable after being hit with something which knocked down and hurt Thanos.
