- It looks like Flash is unbeatable here on the vine, so I want to see how powerfull he really is
- This is Wally West pre Flashpoint, he's bloodlusted, Odin is in character
- Who wins and why?

Odin is too much for Wally.
This ^. Odin is massively powerful. He could easily survive Wally's IMP barrage, and I doubt Wally could really do that much in terms of a straight up confrontation.
Flash kills Odin before Odin can even move millimetre.
And how does he do that? Odin wouldn't even notice his imp barrage.. (And he is massively mftl himself)
@princearagorn1: Odin is MFTL? I did not know that. do you have scans for it by any chance?
@dratini1331: Considering he goes around busting galaxies and escapes from the blasts, he should be mftl, right?
Didn't he fight forsung across galaxies in a few minutes (Maybe someone like killermall could be more helpful here..)
@princearagorn1: dunno =/ I know he blows galaxies up, and I assume he has MFTL travel speed, but I want to know if his combat speed is that fast. I thought he was only a little faster than Thor. Then again, I know nothing about Odin =P
@dratini1331: I like myth odin more than marvel odin lol
@tjsh96: lol quit trolling
A hit from Wally wouldn't hurt Odin in the slighest, while Odin's weakest attack would obliterate Wally. Also this IMP attack has been used, when? Two times in the classic days? I don't believe writers remember it.
Flash. He runs very very fast.
(I think I read that in a battle "Flash vs Celestials or equivalent". :-) )
What he said is true. trolol
None of Flash's attacks could do anything to Odin, but Odin doesn't have the speed to hit Wally. If BFR is allowed, or it's Bart Allen instead of Wally, then I give it to Odin.
Jmarshmallow
Odin.

IMP was never used in the classic days. It's a purely Post Crisis invention.
I wonder if Asgardians have brains that they need to live.
@dredeuced: Well that's what I heard.

Aren't they huge? How could wally actually remove that? Attach on and try top vibrate it lose?
@dredeuced: Well that's what I heard.
Literally the very first time it was ever used was 1997 in JLA #3 so you were lied to.

Asgardians? They're typically normal human sized though Odin can change his size at will. I mean presumptively Odin can freeze time and kill Wally but if he doesn't have the reaction time for it then Wally could do something.
@tjsh96: You don't know much about Odin
C'mon now, do you honestly believe Wally west can phase his hand into Marvel's strongest Skyfather and take out his brain? The same Odin has feats like hyptnotizing every human being on earth with a wave of his hand.

Why not? I don't know a lot about Odin, does he have anti phasing feats?
Like I said, it's probably irrelevant due to time stoppage but if someone doesn't have a means to resist an attack, why do they get a free pass?
Flash wins, he's 13 trillion times the speed of light, duh come on..
Just kidding of course anybody who thinks Wally has a 10th of a chance here is embarising yourself, Odin could teleport to another galaxy and just destroy the one Wally is in, and tell him try to run fast enough to avoid it. Wally has no chance of hurting superman much less Odin.
I once heard (im not completely sure) that Asgardians are inmune to phasing.
I know Asgardians aren't, because Vision has both disabled and hurt Thor with his Phasing, even if it's a different kind of phasing than Wally's. Odin may be, I won't discount it and assume I'm right.
@dredeuced: no asgardians are not immune to phasing, but that is soooo beside the point in a battle like this it won't matter, if he phases pdin can make him stay that way for 100 years, snd flash could do nothing
Wally speeds in and grabs Gungnir, then continuously stabs Ody over and over. Then Wally either a) can physically harm Odin and vibrates his brain out, or vibrates Gungnir through his heart; or b) can't physically harm Odin, in which case he runs off into the speed force before Odin can utilize his power.

Why is it beside the point? Why do you just say things don't matter without ever explaining yourself?
@supermanwithatan01: Doesn't Gungnir works the same way as Mjolnir? Isn't Odin the only worthy of lifting it?
@ghostravage: I don't know. That's a good point! I mean in the movie (I know Odin was featless) but Loki and Thor both held it for a point.
Well... Movies sometimes do w/e they want with the characters... Realistically, Gungnir should only be able to be lifted by Odin or someone Odin finds worthy, i.e his son Thor.
@supermanwithatan01: Doesn't Gungnir works the same way as Mjolnir? Isn't Odin the only worthy of lifting it?
This is not true for Gungnir. Paladin ran away with it during Siege, for instance.

Kind of yeah, Odin blessed Thor's hammer and part of the power he gave Mjolnir was that it could reverse or be immune to phasing. This was shown against Vision, I couldn't cite the issue sorry, and might've been shown against Kitty Prye? It's important to note that anything Mjolnir can do is a direct result of Odin's powers.
@ghostravage: this battle comes down to whether Wally could hurt Odin. I mean ik that moronic headbut with Galactus practically KO'd Odin and that Odin physically battled Surtur etc. But I have no clue about him ever being physically harmed before.
@supermanwithatan01: Yeah, he must hae been hurt before, after all he has a sh*tload of years fighting hordes of Frost Giants and other beasts around the 7 realms... But to be honest, i truly believe Flash won't do anything to him. He's kind of outclassed here...
@ghostravage: if they're fighting in-character then this is spite.
