Flash is too fast, but he can not hurt Dante.

How powerful is Dante?

Dude can take a sh*tload of stabs and impales, caught a bullet with between his teeth, slice 108,000 raindrops with his brother Vergil, stopped a colossal punch which size bigger than very high multi story building, fall from space, and took on the demonic threats like Mundus, Argosax and Savior.

Does he have any resistance to electricity?

He shrugged off getting stabbed by electricity weapon from the demon lady name Trish.

Flash could just use Flashtime, I doubt if he would actually use it through, dude is stupid as hell compared to most speedsters

How much power was behind it? Because Barry's lightning has 1 billion joules behind it.

speed is irrelevant, while barry is faster it doesnt matter because knowing him sooner or later he would be tagged and dante only needs 1 hit to kill him

It doesn't matter how much power. Dante also has Royal Guard style that emphasizes minimization and countering or block enemy attacks which makes him immune to anything that Barry throws at him.

It obviously does, from what I found it only blocks attacks from "lesser demons" and that stronger ones can break his block. So to say he is immune to anything is a blatant lie, and I'm pretty sure he has to activate it which won't happen if/since he isn't fast enough.

@thewatcherking: strength wise? He's pretty strong. I braced a punch from a giant statue that should have been 100s of tons easily from the impact of the punch without his bones giving away.

How fast is he?

The statue feat. This is easily a 1000+ ton feat, as catching something moving at that speeds that large should create enough KE to be equal to a 1000 ton punch.

His brother Virgil and him were trading sword strikes so fast that their swords created a circular barrier around them so rain couldn't fall on them.

This was before he got time manipulation powers.

Later on he gets time manipulation abilities where he can nearly freeze time and he's just as fast as above stacked in this time.

He's much faster than Flash's "standard speeds" if you stack his speed + time manipulation.

But he's not as fast as Flash using "Flash time."

That is true. Dante should have honestly been buried into a hole, lol. But artistically, I guess that would be silly.

Some more speed feats.

So Dante without any time manipulation powers can already see bullets in midair. He can, iirc, actually fire bullets at bullets and calculate where he wants them to ricochet.

To Vergil and Dante, bullets move very very slow.

I think when you stack time manipulation powers on top of the speed shown in the GIF above, Dante might be much faster than Flash.

As we're bullet timed, Vergil was already fanning his katana far far far far faster than the bullets were traveling.

@slimj87d: Much faster than Flash ? Flash literally stops time for others, that is how fast he is right now. Even atomic particles from the bomb didn't even move when he was vibrating that fast to solve how to stop it.

@arqe: They had enough speed that raindrops literally stayed still without time manipulation. Also fought a lightning monster while mocking, as usual.

@arqe: If you read all my post, I said he's much faster than "consistent" showings of flash with his speed + time manipulation. I've already pointed out that flash time flash is faster.

Dante has time manipulation abilities, and when he stops time, he's just as fast as he is in the gifs I showed while time in nearly stopped.

Dante is in the MHS+ range, but the only thing we know for certain is that as of DMC 4, he is slower than lightning.

He's quick enough to perceive, fight and defeat something moving at lightning speed, but he was very clearly slower than the Blitz demon. That said, his regen is insane and he has crazy hax. If he's composite, he should win.

Even before absorbing Sparda’s power, he nosold a bridge busting lightning bolt.
