You should better read the manga. Those are large mountains. Those holes the smoke comes from were mountains before normal BBs vaped them.

Then we couple that with the visual evidence of the crater which is very clearly hundreds if not thousands of Kilometers in width on its lonesome:
Just for the sake of not complicating things, we'll ignore the fact that the crater is visibly many kilometers deep as well; the underlying point here is the fact supposed adults can't apply critical thought on the most fundamental level.

And If I'm understanding correctly you got "thousands of kilometers" by just looking at it?? I asked a simple question about where the numbers are from and got nothing. Go figure.
Covering AOE and height above multiple Naruto mountains isn't that impressive considering how small Naruto mountains are.
Mountains in Naruto are not much taller then Madara's Perfect Susanoo.
The smallest mountains in real life are at least 1000 feet tall. Madara's Perfect Susanoo is no taller then 330 feet.
