I imagine an actual fight in a movie would go down differently between them, but on paper there’s no reason Thor doesn’t kill him with Stormbreaker every time.
Hulk doesn’t dodge and Stormbreaker has the feats to cut his head off.

Trying to catch Stormbreaker the way he caught the hammer will cost him a hand. As shown in EG, Stormbreaker can cut off limbs from Thanos in one swing. Hulk's punches do not cause the amount of damage Thanos's punches do either. Thor got many good hits in with weapons lower than Stormbreaker in power. This time, it will do massive damage per hit.

Thor can definitely end the fight easily with a killing blow but is also susceptible to catching more beatdowns by not just barely slipping in a hit quicker before the Hulk
@kgb725: First of all. Hulk has never KO’d Thor. Not once. The fight in avengers was a stalemate and Thor literally won the fight in Ragnarok lmao. Saying he got KO’d by hulk alone is ridiculous considering he was electrocuted by some high tech electricity. Thor beat the shit out of hulk there and would’ve KO’d him fantastically. The fight was even for the most part while Thor DIDNT HAVE LIGHTNING.
Hulk is not stronger than Thor currently. We’ve seen hulk get minced by Thanos in 10 seconds. Endgame Thor on the other hand, fought well against Thanos and tanked way more damage than Hulk did. And to prove Thor is physically stronger than Hulk now Thanos has stormbreaker and was trying to push it into Thors chest. Thor held it back for a while despite being at a disadvantage because Thanos had the most leverage he could’ve possibly had basically. So Thor almost matching Thanos’ strength is so ridiculously above Hulk that there is no competition anymore. Thor still has Stormbreaker. So he is still King Thor. He is no longer regular Thor.
....I'm surprised how many people are saying Fat Thor, he got physically dominated worse than Dumb Hulk did by Thanos and Hulk could most likely take Stormbreaker from Thor and behead him with it. Hulk is physically superior, has greater durability and the only thing Thor has is his lightning.

Thanos is irrelevant. Hulk is shown to be stronger than Thor in their fights. There is no such thing as king Thor he never got a power upgrade. Hulk just grabs Stormbreaker and kills Thor with it
Grabbing Stormbreaker is going to cost him a hand, hammerless, pre-amp Thor was giving Hulk a good fight.

If Thor does what he did in the second GIF Hulk's head is coming off, and Thor was still able to hold back Thanos from cutting his chest open for a time, stopping Stormbreaker from going through. His physical strength is still top-tier, and he can still lop off Hulk's head. It's not an easy fight, but Hulk isn't going to dodge, deflect or do much of anything against Thor's hits except try to tank them, which won't end well.
Thanos was smart and avoided taking any direct strikes from Stormbreaker, and he also had the benefit of also having a potential one-shot weapon which doubled as a useful defence, nothing Hulk has is capable of stopping or blocking Stormbreaker.

Yep agreed Hulk is capable of beating any version of Thor but SB is hard to get by because of its abilities unless you are in a higher tier.
Thor stomps. He's fat, slower and doesn't fight smart but Hulk never fights smart too. One Stormbreaker hit to the head is all it takes. If Thor decides to go for lighting blast (like that he used to amp Iron Man), he would at least seriously faze Hulk.

Thanos overpowered Hulk each hand overpowering the other in Infinity War. When Hulk was smashing Thor in Ragnarok, Thor was unconscious on the ground helplessly receiving a beatdown. Thor is much more skilled than Hulk in a fight.
If Thor was stronger than Hulk, he wouldn't need lightning or any weapon to gain an advantage over Hulk in Ragnarok. Ragnarok showed that Thor can hang in a fight with Hulk for a while and his superior skill is insufficient to drop the Hulk without lightning or powerful weapons. The lightning makes it a match. Thor with his fists (no lightning) versus the Hulk is suicide

Because EG Thor never used his lightning amped punches in-character, he went full on melee.

I'm not saying that, but if Hulk attacks like he did in Ragnarok, Thor's gonna experience the exact same reaction.
Hulk is still physically stronger, more durable and has an estabilished healing factor ability. If he can heal or catch Stormbreaker he wins, plus he can take Thor down with enraged hits.
