Fantastic Four vs X-Men (Universal Tournament Style)

Fight gets universal tournament rules. Imagine the stage is a floating 5x5 mile platform. Last team with the most combatants standing on the stage after 48 minutes wins, neither Sue or Magneto can use their powers INSIDE a persons body, only externally so no exploding forcefields or brain emp or iron expelling. Franklin and Phoenix fight in a pocket dimension to death/ko/incap. The winner of that fight counts towards the number of combatants that team has left. Which team will be the left standing?

With this many people strategy is so important, which is why I'd have to give it the Fantastic Four, though this is an otherwise really even match. Also, if Magneto can't use magnetism on Wolverine, he has no metal to work with besides Colossus, who is on his team, thus making him useless.

Mags doesn't necessarily NEED metal to work with however he could likely scrounge up enough metal from the metal materials each combatant has on their person (belt buckles, helmets, straps) to use in various ways.

@whitneyahn: those who's standard equipment and apparel have metal. Cyclops has his visor, ant man has a helmet,ghost rider has a chain nearly all of them have belt buckles, but again he doesn't NEED metal. He's blown a hole through a mountain using pure electricity from his fingertips before and has magnetic force fields. He can manipulate the EM spectrum which includes many forms of energy, he can actually be pretty effective in this fight

This is solely a Franklin Richard's vs WPOTC fight, no one else matters. I'll give it Franklin.

Excluding those two characters, Fantastic Four still win on the backs of Sue and Ghost Rider.

Add the Phoenix and you have not only Jean Grey weildingn an entities power over life that has and will ever exist and the psionic energies of the multiverse, but her access to the White Hot Room is instant access outside time and space in the nexus of all realities.

@hiddenforce: Um magneto arguably has an answer for her. She bends light but mags bends the em spectrum and he has nuke+ level shields. And I'm not sure but is sues shields teleport proof? Because Kurt teleports where he can see and he can see clean through her shields. I'm gonna need some sue feats to be convinced she carries her team

@pyrofn: Yes, I understand that, Jean is up there in my favorite characters. My point is, what has she really done done as WPOTC to put herself above FR? The best I know is that she held a mini universe, which is negligent since Franklin has not only created pocket universes but fought Celestials, as well as took control of Galactus to make him his own herald.

-Her force fields survived an explosion similar to the big bang

-Contained a gama bomb

-Momentarily blocked celestial blasts

-Survived an explosion that destroys reality itself

-During time runs out she contained Amadeus Cho in a force field to prevent teleportation (Not Kurt but still), she can also cover her body with a body tight force field to prevent teleportation attacks

Sue KO'ed She Hulk (100 tons), Thing (85 tons), Absorbing Man (able to fight Hulk and Thor) and Titania (100+ tons) at the same time without effort

Plus a pissed of Sue can solo the Avengers (With thor and hulk)

You do realize that Magneto's powers are not limited to metal, right? He has manipulated plastic, rocks, wood, paper, regular humans and etc.... his powers work like straight up telekinesis in terms of what he can affect, hell he can even conjure up energy constructs as a material to throw if he wants to.

Creates tentacle-like energy constructs and wraps them up on X-Men.

Creates energy wrecking ball constructs.

Not exactly, rather she draws energy from Hyperspace which fuel her force-field powers, various handbooks and encyclopedias, as well as Marvel Fact Files, describe the said energy as psionic energy.

Everyone else is pointless apart Franklin and Phoenix.

@cdiddyman911: Ok, I can talk about that. Actually, in that same story where the feat that she held a universe, she had destroyed an entire alternate reality. She then does it again in the Uncanny X-Men Annual and in that same issue, shows Cyclops his future if he doesn’t divert his life course. White Phoenix of the Crown, being an entity outside time and space inside the nexus of realities (the M’Kraan Crystal), is seen in different realities, such as he “What-If AvX” reality and the “What-If Gabriel Summers became Phoenix” reality. She has also transferred others inside the M’Kraan Crystal, such as her family and Rachel Summers indirectly when she gave her something to escape Scarlet Witches spell. It’s quite apparent that with power over one of the most powerful entities, she can communicate from the White Hot Room and look into the future if need be. We can also add all the other abilities the Phoenix can typically do for her.

@hiddenforce: Yes, she could, but he can also lower the temperatures of his surroundings. Not just immediate, but everywhere. He can create Ice clones and such. Sue can only do so much through concentration, which is why if she doesn’t take Bobby down quickly, then she most likely won’t make it. Best thing for her to do is wear him down somehow.

That is all nice, but none of it proves why she can beat Franklin. Every feat mentioned Franklin has replicated or outright did better (He has made universes which is above transporting through universes, and he has talked to his young self, showing the time manipulation) while she still doesn't have the combat feats like enslaving Galactus or fighting multiple Celestials.

Yes, the said dimension is called Hyperspace, i think the 2 handbook entries, Marvel Encyclopedia entry and Marvel Fact Files entry of Sue can explain it better.

What do we know about Ghost Rider's chain? Can Magneto grab it, tie some people up with it, then heave it across the Atlantic?

why is wolverine with the ff here there is no way he would side with them

@hiddenforce: Not really. He can still lower the temperatures of his surroundings, including Sues own body.

I actually put 3 fantastic four groups on one team. One of those groups was Grey Hulk, Ghost Rider, Wolverine and Spider-Man.

@pyrofn: She wouldn't be in the force-field with him and her shields can block extreme temperatures.

@crimz: Iceman doesn’t need to be in immediate proximity to accomplish this feat. Unless Sue can comehow control temperatures all of sudden, here is no answer to Bobby lowering the temperatures inside Sues shields. Sue can’t block being frozen from her insides.

@pyrofn: He could lower the temperature inside them all he likes, it's not going to help him. Sue's not going to be in there with him and the force fields block extreme temperatures, just look at who her brother is who she contains all the time.

Him being in the force-field limits the amount of moisture he can control too, so he can't create ice constructs strong enough to break through. He has no counter to things like force-fields.

@crimz: also isn't his temperature control psionic in nature? If so no way iceman can freeze through her shields, iirc her shields keep out anything psionic
