  • Ethan is in his prime and has all feats from all Mission Impossible movies.
  • Ethan and Jason are dressed in military outfit.
  • In character.
  • Standard knowledge.
  • Fist fight, starts 30 feet apart.

Round 1: Win by KO or death.

I think the team would win. They're both survivors, Bane might be impervious to pain, but they could figure out a way to take him out, especially with a numbers advantage.

If removing the mask counts in round 1, the team should win.

In the second round, Bane's endurance might be enough for him to last and win before he actually dies.

@mandarinestro: Not sure. If just removing the mask is enough, it wouldn't be a very hard fight. Without the mask removal, then it'd be a harder fight.

To be fair, Bane's mask isn't as simple as just pulling it off. Batman had to hook it with his gauntlet and that only slightly dislodged it.

Ethan Hunt would notice the damn mask and say hey Bourne let's take it off, it he must be wearing it for a reason.

Only with proper teamwork can the team hope to take Bane down. If they just charge at him without so much as a plan or coordinating their attacks, Bane is capable of taking them down with moderate difficulty.

@nickzambuto: I know it's not, but the only reason Bane would even win in the second round is through his endurance. He's outmatched otherwise. Removing his mask isn't easy but it's hardly going to cost them a victory.

Bourne can potentially solo.

Loading Video...

People are really overrating Bane. He wasn't very impressive in TDKR. His best feat was beating a retired, out of shape Batman. And you know what the worst part is? Bane lost in their second fight.

Bourne's h2h feats put him well above Bale's Batman.

Idk if Bourne can do this alone, when Ethan dies. I essentially see them getting grabbed because it ends when they do.

If Batman could take Bane's punches, so could Bourne. And either way, Bourne is far too quick for Bane's slow movements.

@logy5000: Bane was fast enough to tag Batman who was an aim dodger and fast enough to KO 16 thugs in 21 seconds. Plus Batman had consistently high durability throughout the trilogy thanks to his armor, higher than anything Bourne had shown and Bane was able to tag him and hurt him. So Bane wins.

@logy5000: Also Bane wasn't slow, neither was Batman. Nolan used theatricality and deception to trick you. xD http://www.comicvine.com/forums/batman-286/nolan-batman-respect-thread-1632841/

@ultrastarkiller: He tagged Batman who stood there like a dumb@ss and didn't seem to try to dodge his hits. Batman's h2h feats are beneath Bourne's.

There is nothing in TDKR that suggests that Bane isn't slow. He and Batman spent their 2nd fight throwing haymakers at each other.

I think both Bourne and Ethan are more skilled than Bane, by more than enough, but they're all similarly tactically adept and Bane can't feel pain. He's also clearly stronger than either of them, what with the concrete punching thing. In the fight to the death i think Bane wins, unless they get the mask off of him and beat him to death slowly, wearing him down. Which, actually, is exactly how they'd have to win the first round, too, in my opinion. Bane could break them if he got his hands on them, but that just wont happen, especially not to Bourne. Both he and Ethan are too smart to let that happen and are agile and fast enough to avoid it, i think. In both rounds i can see Ethan getting taken out, but probably not Bourne, especially with Ethan as cannon fodder.

@ultrastarkiller: That link doesn't work.

I know that the biggest argument here is that Bane can win if he gets his hands on them. I don't know much at all about Ethan, but I know for sure that Bane won't get his hands on Bourne. Just compare the fights.

Bane may be stronger, but strength alone won't win this match for him.

@ultrastarkiller: If the director intended for Bane to be fast, then his fights were just horribly choreographed. That thread is more help for Batman than Bane. Frozen himself once told me that he believes (Nolan's) Batman would lose to Jason in h2h.

Considering Batman was able to beat Bane in h2h when he was older and less healthy than he was in the first 2 movies, I don't see why Bourne couldn't do the same.

@logy5000: I do agree that they could have been better choreographed (Especially the last fight). But at the end of the trilogy Batman was supposed to be at the same strength he was in the older movies (because the Pit is suppose to be like the Lazerous Pit, once you emerge from it you're suppose to be better than ever because...reasons. kinda stupid I know) and the only reason he beat Bane in the last fight is because he exploited his weakness with his gauntlet. If Batman hadn't of done that he would of lost, and I don't think that that Jason can take down Bane without exploiting his weakness. Since they're in the batcave, I don't see him doing that.

@ultrastarkiller: The Batcave is littered with objects that Bourne could use to break Bane's mask. Bourne is a master improviser and would more than likely notice that Bane is wearing that mask for a good reason. If Bourne can't break Bane's mask, then I agree that he would eventually lose. But the way I see it, Bourne's first objective would be to remove the mask.

Normally I'd agree but Bale's batcave was always relatively clean, the gadgets and stuff usually popped up out of the ground when you walk near them (idk if that's based on all movement or just Batman's movement). So if Bourne can find a batarang or something that can break Bane's mask then I agree he wins.

I can agree to this.

Ppl are overestimating Bane & underestimating Bourne . Bane was slow & the best thing he did was punch the concrete (good striking feat) & beating down on a old fresh out of retirement Batman . Batman displayed none of the feats be showed in his first films & was slow as hell & Bane was just as slow . Team takes this & if Bourne gets his hands on a pen game over .

@reaverlation: How is it a stupid argument when ppl argue combat speed on this site in every thread ? Bane showed no real combat speed & Batman showed nothing of his former self from the first film . In Bourne you can see he's clearly quicker when it comes to H2H .

While Ethan distracts Bourne picks up a rock and proceeds to beat Bane in the head until he dies. Just because Bane can't feel pain doesn't mean he can't get his brains bashed in.
