What did Escanor do like that? I still believe Yama wins because his bankai is literally sun-level while Escanor's attacks are just hot enough to sear most humanoid flesh.

Yama solos majority of nnt all by himself

Bankai yama should stomp due to west and East I think... Escanor beats him without bankai. It’s a stomp either way.

In character in going for escanor simply due to non Bankai game not being that impressive but at their best Yama practically solos his own verse forget NNT lol.

Shikai Yamamoto can be argued to island level, so I can see an argument for him being on par with the one Escanor, but he should be below the one ultimate Escanor, which is basically what you said, so I don't have much of a problem with that. I just think his far superior physicals gives him a major advantage. Bankai Yamamto is only arguably >>> due to his heat potency. In raw stats he is still weaker.

• His Shunpo is way faster than Shunsui & Ukitake due to the fact he was sitting down waiting for the duo even when they had a headstart easily a Mid to High MHS speed feat with just casual Shunpo.
• Causes Aizen to bleed with a handgrip, remember Aizen? No-selling pretty much every character in the series up until that point?
• Can use high-level kido, hypnosis kido, and high-level hakuda techniques
• Literally confirms himself to be the most powerful Shinigami even without his zanpaukto

Morning Escanor lacks feats to keep up, all we have is the Izraf Fight & Galan Fight to be honest, the former has heat feats below Yamamoto while the latter has impressive strength feats but only comparable to Kenny. If you somehow argued Morning Escanor>Kenny then Yamamoto would still have the speed & versatile gap.

Escanor's heat has been stated to be as hot as the sun but that's kinda vague and we have a clear 15 Million degrees for Yama's Bankai heat; Escanor gets stomped because of a huge AP difference.

Old woud have a hard time w shikai , but woud still lolstomp the verse with bankai.

Young woud fodderize him in shikai , and mid dif at max in base , bankai woud be to much .
