escanor wins beacuse .......
The time doesnt change
Escanor can take this, possibly with ease. Doflamingo is comparable to the likes of Galan in power before he was at full power(fight against ban, fight against meliodas) Escanor managed to no sell Galan's moves. He shouldn't have a problem with Doffy. Especially with the nature of his abilities. With the feats we seen so far, Escanor shouldn't have any issues harming Doffy.
Lol at continental Whitebeard. Considering OP states this is the Escanor that fought Galan, Whitebeard wins in a good fight without this being a mismatch. Before any One Piece wankers get here, high noon Escanor would absolutely demolish Whitebeard in one-hit.
@god_vulcan: I don't really see how Whitebeard even remotely compares to high noon Escanor in anything. He can't hurt him as Whitebeards best DC feat is cracking a small, already heavily damaged Island in half with a bloodlusted, non-holding back Quake Punch. Meanwhile Escanor laughed off multiple Mountain+ level attacks from Meliodas with absolutely no damage. Speed is pretty irrelevant as Whitebeard has no good speed feats and Escanor probably couldn't blitz due to Haki pre-cog among other things. On the other hand, Escanor can oneshot Whitebeard due to the latter being heavily weak to physical damage to the point where he was damaged by fodders using swords and guns and was ultimately killed by Blackbeard using pistols etc.
Anyhow, Whitebeard wins with high-diff here as this is pre-prime Escanor.
isnt WB considered continental?
Whitebeard might be. So far we only have island level feats of old and sick Whitebeard who also had to hold back.
Sengoku said he has the power to destroy the world.
so the quake calculation from old whitebeard is not accepted here? then similary the quake calculation from dolor isnt either i guess
@hittheassasin: Come on man, the feats are clear. Newgate has several island lvl feats that he completed while sick, half-dead and with many greivous injuries he suffered prior. By the time Akainu killed Ace and WB snapped he was already a basically a walking corpse, yet he still had enough strength left over to split Marinefird in half with a punch, tilt the whole island (and surrounding waters) on it's side, summoned two Tsunami's that threatened to destroy the island, and generated earthquakes that reverberated tremors/shockwaves on islands all across the Grand Line... On the other hand Escanor was at the absolute strongest he ever can ever be and he has the one feat of oneshotting Meliodas that was island lvl. I understand WB's piercing durability seems bad since he was bled by bullets and stabbed repeatedly, but reading the chapters again it almost as he let them hurt him (with the exception of Squard). His endurance is crazy though so it doesn't matter.
@god_vulcan: Whitebeard being island level is....severely debatable and not very consistent considering the fact that his supposedly "Island level" quakes failed to break the thick stone wall set up by the Marines and also didn't kill a bunch of people it really should have killed if it was Island level(The giant Vice-Admiral, the fodder marines etc.). Honestly, based on showings it's AOE was Island level, but it's potency wasn't, excluding the final punch against Akainu. Also, you've really got to keep in mind Marineford isn't exactly particularly large as far as Islands go, IIRC certain panels showed to be around mid-large Mountain sized at best.
Whitebeards endurance and pain tolerance is certainly extremely impressive, but not to the point that he can survive being cut in 2, which is what Escanors slashes will do to him considering his lack of cutting durability.
WB is too slow to even do anything. This version of Escanor was bullying Gallan, who covered several miles instantaneously. He tanked his own attacks reflected back at him at x2 the original power and vaped a lake in seconds. Cruel sun should be enough to take WB out
@hittheassasin: You're ignoring the possibility that Newgate wasn't exerting full power until after Ace died. The only inconsistency was his failure to kill fodder like the Vice Admirals and marines, but there's no evidence he used as much force against them as he did when battling Akainu. The wall not be destroyed would be a durability feat for the wall itself not a negative showing for WB's power. And considering Escanor has 0 feats above mountain range until he reaches High Noon, I would overlook that and place their DC on the same level regardless.
Escanor's main advantage is speed but he never uses it in battle. In character he's just proud and arrogant, almost always letting his opponents attack first. WB could quake him before Esca gets a chance to bisect him (he also has haki precog which would make that easier) and this version Escanor has no blunt force durability feats to suggest he can tank them.
escanor tanked multiple hits from estarossa and meliodas. some send him flying through rock formations which immediately got violently fragmented. a full power swing from galan whose shockwave alone sliced through multiple small mountains or large hills miles away left nothing but a scratch, which immediately healed.
all of this was early morning to mid day escanor, not the one.
also he blitzed estarossa, carving his chest open, when he had enough of his attitude
@hittheassasin: escanor at high noon is around island level at beSt, sick WB was strong enough to shake the entire grand line which consists of a lot of islands, that is way abover island
At least, continent level (if not higher)
It was stated that WB has the power to destroy the world ( planet level)
