The sakura punch literally isn’t an outlier at all, even during early shippuden Sakura had the best physical feats in the whole verse up until the Pain arc outside of temporary amps like kyubii cloak and curse marks , her and tsunade were the only ones with relevant physicals and that’s because naruto isn’t centered around physicals or linear stats as a verse, that is why we constantly see examples of split durability like characters get easily pierced by regular swords and kunais with no significant force behind them even though they can handle energy attacks pretty well or ”supposed” god tiers like otsutsuki’s being physically restrained by Jonin/Mid-Kage level ninjutsu so it’s pretty clear that kaguya’s physical durability is far below her own raw power and the strongest physical shinobi at the time harming her was clearly on purpose abd makes plenty of sense, otsutsuki’s have consistently struggled with far less then what Sakura can dish out so people just need to realize that the naruto verse doesn’t have the best physicals but anyways kaido probably gets staggered at least without taking much damage

@justanoutcast: correct that has always been the case once she trained under tsunade, both naruto and sasuke have even admitted this themselves on several occasions including the war arc, sasuke by far has the lowest physicals out of the trio without susanoo since he never got any amp comparable to naruto’s sage mode that made him strong enough to hurl large summonings and lift 100+ ton stone statues plus his kcm and BM modes likely gave him a significant boost in strength but still nowhere close to his ninjutsu potency, overall naruto, sasuke and the otsutsuki’s excel at ninjutsu and ocular hax like sharingan/rinnegan above all else so their durability and other physical stats don’t automatically scale to that so you can’t use that reasoning to say Sakura damaging her is an outlier when she’s clearly a physical powerhouse

@kayc: yes that’s exactly what I’m saying and I wasn’t solely basing my argument on the piercing vulnerability I was jus pointing out that the naruto verse clearly has split durability so it’s no surprise that kaguya would fare better against energy rather than physical attacks especially since other otsutsuki’s introduced later are consistently below sakura tier in raw physical strength with the exception of jigen so far, momoshiki is literally useless in a fight without chakra pills or an enemy’s ninjutsu to absorb as he was felt the need to avoid a raw physical altercation with mid-tier new gen kages that don’t even specialize in taijutsu with the exception onoki’s successor, kinshiki was successfully restrained by shikamaru’s shadow paralysis jutsu which should be no problem for em if his physicals were as great as most people assume and as for one piece they do have split durability as well when it comes to piercing but not physical as much
