Thanos in a decent fight but they go down easier than endgame trio. Thor doesn't have stormbreaker OR Mjolnir here which is a huge disadvantage. And Endgame IM is above any of the non-Thor Revengers. Sure they may have an extra person and some more raw power but the real problem here is that none of them have ranged weapons.
The EG Trio had IM with versatility and distance attacks. Thor landed shots by throwing mjolnir. Cap threw shield and Mjolnir. But this team relies SOLELY on close quarters combat, which Thanos dominates in. They may have more raw power than the EG trio but they're a worse match up for Thanos.
Thanos low difficulty. He's stronger, faster on combat, more durable, vastly more skilled than everyone in the side.
He is not stronger than Hulk.
Thanos did beat him with skill, didn't overpower him directly in raw physicals. As director said, they are equally strong.
Joe Russo: “I think ultimately, the way we looked at that fight and the way talked about it with our stunt team when we were executing it was Hulk is obviously very powerful, but he’s a little mindless in his fighting style. It’s aggressive, it’s pummeling. Thanos is the Ghengis Kahn of the universe, he’s a very skilled fighter, So, when you put those two up against each other, the more skilled fighter is going to win ultimately. Which is why Hulk has a moment where he overpowers Thanos, but ultimately Thanos is smart.”
Thanos was struggling to lift Hulk and it took seconds, he likes a tough fight that's why he also smiled after fighting with Nano Iron Man in the Titan battle.
