Endgame Thanos vs Faora

Going with Thanos in a good fight.

This is a fight of endurance.

Faora, Thanos never demonstrated anything close to the diner scene, were she throws superman a few hundred yards at speed through buildings and into a bank vault.

Faora stomps. Thanos doesn't move anywhere near as fast as faora or Superman. He doesn't show any strength feats strong enough to even consider him a threat and He his durability is questionable he was cut by iron Man. And he only tanked hulks attack's because of his armor. Wonder woman would probably slice thanos neck open tbh.

Dumb rebuttal. He's obviously pointing out Faora's strength to be able to throw Superman that far, hard, through buildings, and still putting that big a dent in something as durable as a bank vault.

I don't see Thanos tagging her in any meaningful way. She's too fast, she'd easily react to any of his strikes and any counter Thanos might be able to hit wouldn't do enough.

That's why I said 'might' lol. I only suggested the idea since the close proximity might allow Thanos the time to hit her since she might not see it coming and he could be close enough that the time to hit would be small enough for her speed to not allow her to dodge or react.

The Hulk does, and Thanos is at least as strong as the Hulk.

Says who? Thanos has better durability than the Hulk and has plenty of good durability feats anyways.

Thanos had some good reaction feats in Endgame. He blocked Iron Man's lightning amped repulsor blasts by spinning his sword and he ducked from Mjolnir and Stormbreaker blows. Faora is definitely faster but I think Thanos can tag her and has the durability to tank some of her attacks.

What's stopping Faora from disappearing 16 times with her speed and putting her knife in Thanos' neck?

What Mach is faora’s punches? And compare it to Ironman’s 6 repulses blasts and carols photon blasts

Thanos but I don't see why Faora can't hold her own with her speed. Her strength is also pretty impressive.

I'd say Faora in a good fight mainly via her speed advantage. I don't think she will go untouched though.

She's too fast, and her punches affected Superman, which means, it would also affect Thanos. Imagine that striking strength being used to stab Thanos' face with an incredibly durable Kryptonian metal.

What evidence is there to suggest Kryptonian metal can pierce Thanos?

@anthp2000: It isn't about the weapon's sharpness, it's about who's swinging it. It can be as sharp as a mere kitchen knife and it'd do fine as long as it's durable enough to take the impact.

No not really. Vibranium bladed uppercut from a Super Soldier didn't even scratch him, why would regular metal penetrate his skin just cause it's used by Faora? If your skin is impenetrable to something it's impenetrable to something no matter what, a mere terrestrial kitchen knife would likely bend or break in conduct with Thanos' skin.

@lan_fan: Actually NVM, I assumed the metal of Faora's weapons was Kryptonite, which is obviously not the case lol, so I guess her ability to hurt other Kryptonians with it is valid against Thanos.

If it's made of regular metal, yes... Is Kryptonian metal regular metal? No. These metals are durable enough to no sell missiles, and bullets. Scaling its durability to World Engine and Kryptonian ships, it should not break upon contact like a kitchen knife would.

Faora was beating Superman in the beginning of their fight pretty decisively, he started to turn the tables with flight but we never got to see more between the two of them after Nam-intercepted him.

Faora got ambushed by Superman at the end while she was distracted. If the military hadn't intervened Superman would have lost. They provided a very useful distraction.

Thanos was beating a team of people who were all slower than Faora and most of which were also weaker than her. Thanos isn't touching someone who can react,dodge, and counter as fast as Faora can. She made an absolute fool out of Superman when tried to blitz in the diner.
