@o0deadman0o: I would love to see the feats that Iron Man’s armour have to show they could tank lighting which can turn people to ash when directly hit by it and disable a massive fleet when used by Dyad Palpatine.

The numbers could be a problem, but it depends on how the Iron Men decide to attack Palps initially.

Most arguments in Palpatine's favor will likely veer toward his Force Lightning because it is his most iconic and commonly utilized power (in spite of him also having a relevant level of telekinesis). It also is from Force Lightning that Palpatine gets his best power feats.

Most arguments in Iron-Man's favor will likely veer toward his resilience against electricity and capacity to use that against his opponents. Stark has only ever done this in tandem (fighting against or with) Thor, the latter of whom had only tried to harm Tony in this way during Phase 1 (the Avengers).

You can proabably see how this battle could basically boil down to arguing Thor's Lightning vs Palpatine's Lightning...

It depends on how the Iron Men attack. Palpy is powerful enough to kill a very large amount of MCU heroes and villains, IG thanos and Time Stone Strange included... but Bleeding Edge could stand a chance.

@chaos239: sheev used lightning like what, three times, four times? Killing mace, incapping luke and inadvertently killing vader at the same time, beating yoda... His force lightning has never destroyed a city nor has it killed beings stronger than him like thor did malekith. It took time for Palpatine to wipe out the fleet and even then there were still enough ships to finish their mission and get home.

Thor from endgame used his lightning to charge Tony multiple times, and his endgame lightning looked to be miles more impressive. By feats Thor's lightning is more powerful. Tony's armor will get crushed by TK, but theres too many flying around at mach speeds, palpatine wont be able to hit all of them with TK before say his extremis armor blasts him in the back. Boom, dead Sheev.

The Mark 42 tries to help Palpatine and accidentally knocks him out.

@octavian130: uh, IG Thanos is above any Iron Man suit. Palpatine dies if any stone gets used on him with intent to kill.

@o0deadman0o: thors lightning didnt kill malekith, malekiths ship did. endgame lightning is trash, can you picture fat thor sinking the Sanctuary II and its army with lightningbolts? I dont think so. Also, in canon palpatines lightning has incinerated blaster-immune alien predators, as well as their gigantic alien queen that had lightsaber resistance, and this was all before the dyad absorption. {canon novel LoTS} palpatine's lightning is way more versatile, can strike with a homing effect + EMP, bypasses the deflector shields of 14,000 advanced aircraft at the same time, and even while spread thin out like that can still start to explode large cruisers. By feats palps is way too fast to be hit with blasters, crushes each and every suit simultaneously with tk. If IG suit is used palps gets stomped.

@manmadeofhunter: a single blaster bolt might be able to kill palpatine but he's not exactly a glass cannon in the same way people like mcu wanda, strange are.(despite being an old greywrinkled corpse) In the canon comic he gets slammed into heavy machinery for laughing during vader's "nooooo" moment. he takes no real damage, cancels the forcechoke, stands up and puts vader in his place with a shocking thank-you gift.

Palpatine hits them all with lightning, but that might just power them up, and then they would be able to use his own power against him. Due to this I think the iron man team can win.
