Both of them are at full power.
Who wins this?
EGD is omnipotent.
Demonbane is not omnipotent. Demonbane is a nigh-omnipotent.

Yes he is. @reikai can explain in more detail but he became equal to Azathoth.
EG Demonbane, Solos the transformers universe.
Transformers has a potentially omnipotent being.

RIP Unicron & Transformers universe ;_;

And is there any real evidence to prove that the omnipotent being in Transformers is actually omnipotent?
EG Demonbane, Solos the transformers universe.
This.

seems legit.
@ryanburns: Well Demonbane still murders anyone else in the Transformers universe.
lol.
@ryanburns: Doesn't matter if you can't prove anything about it. "Potentially" doesn't mean jack crap to anyone. Demonbane has actually gone out and beat down nigh-omnipotents who create/destroy infinite multiverses by merely existing and whose molecules are composed of multiverses.
Demonbane has a tool that, just by swinging it, he's destroying multiverses.

He may or may not be able to defeat The One.
@ryanburns: From what I'm seeing, "The One", isn't even in the same league as the beings Demonbane spanks regularly. Nyarlathotep wraps the whole Transformers megaverse around her little finger, and EGD killed her 400million times in an instant. With a Glare.
@ryanburns: And nobody cares. If the Writers didn't say so, and the fans are going "Maybe". Then the answer is simple; He Isn't.

He might be omnipotent. Don't say he isn't.
@ryanburns: If the Writers didn't say so and it wasn't made obvious nor stated by the character himself nor alluded to by Primus or any other figures, then it's not a "Maybe" It's a "No he isn't". Being above Primus and Unicron doesn't make you omnipotent.
Trying to build an argument with a "Maybe" is utterly pointless and meaningless.
@ryanburns: Which means he's not unless the Writers or Company comes out and says he is. Again, relying on a "maybe" with no clarification, means absolutely nothing here.
@reikai: Just because they never said he is omnipotent, doesn't mean he is not.
Actually. That's exactly what it means.
Unless someone has a statement or better yet an actual FEAT to validate their power level, they aren't. Period.
Otherwise everyone is omnipotent unless the writers say they aren't.

No. He is a creator god, so that's why he might be omnipotent.

Thor is a god. He's not even close to omnipotent.
Being called god means nothing.
@fallschirmjager: Thor is not a creator god. The One is a creator god like the true God in the Bible. (P.S. Sorry if you are not a Christain) So that's why he might be omnipotent since he is supposed to be the God of the Transformers Multiverse.

Creating a multiverse doesn't make you omnipotent either.
@ryanburns: Nyarlathotep created infinite multiverses. Demonbane still pimpslapped her.
@reikai: @fallschirmjager: I know but the One is supposed to be the God of the Transformers multiverse so thats why he might be omnipotent.
@ryanburns: You still fail to understand that relying on "maybes" and "might bes" is completely and utterly pointless. Nobody cares. There's nothing to back it. And unless the Writers/Company give some sort of confirmation, then as far as anyone is concerned, He Isn't Omnipotent.
@reikai: this is pointless. abandon ship
@ryanburns: It's not debatable at all. Because you can't prove he's omnipotent. You have nothing to support it. Not even the Writers have alluded to anything of that sort. All you have is one line saying "he created a multiverse". That's it.
Demonbane series has beings who do that by merely existing, and have far greater feats above that. And Demonbane has defeated All of Them. Even stated that the True Omnipotence of the series itself, Azathoth, can't remove or destroy Demonbane.

Then Azathoth is not Omnipotent.
this thread isn't even about "The one"
so stupid.

No. It means Demonbane is omnipotent because omnipotent vs omnipotent is stalemate.
@fallschirmjager: Actually the point was that Demonbane had become so integral to Azathoth's own being that Azathoth can't destroy him. It wouldn't matter if an Awakened Azathoth could beat him over and over again, Demonbane would never cease to be.
It was rather simple. When Azathoth wakes up, everything ceases to exist. The omniverse, Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep, etc etc. All of it. Gone. *poof* Never happened. With the exception of Demonbane. He'd still be there.
Demonbane has effectively become a part of Azathoth himself, which is why he can't ever be destroyed. I have never made the contention that Demonbane could tie out with Azathoth in a fight, only that Azathoth can't ever destroy him.
EDG does not erase transformers unless he has powers in the IDW omniverse
`HE CAN
