Edward Elric vs Eren Yeager

Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist ( Composite between the 2003 anime and Brotherhood ) vs Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan.

The fight takes place in Central City. They start 100 yards away from each other.

Ed has his Northern Automail, Eren has his 3D Monuver Gear.

Both are in character but going all out, willing to kill.

Both have basic knowlegde on each other and 10 minutes prep before the fight.

Round 1: Hand to hand. No alchemy or 3D Monuvering gear.

Round 2: Eren gets 3DMG, Edward gets alchemy.

Round 3: Eren can Titan Shift, Edward gets a Philosopher Stone and will use it.

Bonus Round: Who has the sadder backstory/Which anime is better?

@joewell: Eren doesn't look like a hand to hand fighter if you ask me (I just started watching attack on Titan so I may be wrong) and Ed's blade on his arm could cause some serious damage he could deconstruct everything Eren try's to get onto extend titan form is pretty over powered and same with Ed with the stone Eren losing his mom to a Titan and watching slot of people die is pretty tragic

Last round is 50:50, can go either way, He is strong enough to hurt a titan without the stone, with it Eren might be a possibility.

1on 1 ed takes all, ed is a casual bullet timer who has fought the fastest people in his series, like scar.

Ed's Alchemy is OP. He wins any round in which he can use it. Otherwise, Eren owns.

@irhp87: Not sure what your definition of quality is. AoT has top notch animation but so does FMA:B. As far as story and any other quality goes FMA wins in a landslide. FMA is one of if not the best Manga/Animes of all time. AoT has an interesting story concept and superb animation but the manga it is based off of is B-tier at best.

All rounds go to Ed. He's shown to be way more skilled at H2H combat. His alchemy outclasses anything Eren can do with 3D gear and Ed with Philosopher Stone will be a beast. He can make any f*cking thing he wants. Eren is Titan form, sure, hard to beat, but given that Ed is way more skilled and has a Philosopher Stone, Eren can't take that. Even if Ed gets injured, he can heal himself with it. And as for the backstory, just watch FMA:B and you know why it's sadder xD

Round 1: 70:30 in favor of Ed due to his metalic arm and more advanced h2h combat experience.

Round 2: 70:30 in favor of Ed. Manuevre gear at best is only a minor nuisance compared to Alchemy.

Round 3: Ed all the way. Philospher's stone is just too op.

FMA as a narrative is 10x better, AoT production quality is 10x better.
