Ed Elric and Lan Fan vs Deathstroke

Deathstroke has been contracted to kill Ling by a Xingese noble. He tracks him down to find him protected by both a young blonde kid and a young bodyguard in Xingese attire. Neither flinched as Slade racked his guns in preparation for the ensuing fight. They certainly aren't cowards, the imposing assassin thought to himself. This could prove to be an interesting mission after all.

Round 1:

• Slade has two machine pistols, a handgun, grenades, his sword, and his staff.
• Ed has northern automail and Lan Fan has her automail arm.
• Deathstroke is on a mission, he must complete it! The team loses if Ling dies(Ling has been incapacitated prior to this).
• Ling is located inside a building behind the two.
• Fight takes place in Rush Valley, and the combatants start 50m out.
• Everyone is in character.

Round 2:

• Ed and Lan Fan are now bloodlusted.
• Slade gets his Ikon Suit.
• Ling is now Greed/Ling so can survive via healing factor for a bit.

Who wins?

I don't know enough about Slade to make a balanced argument with any authority, but the anime team would be tough to beat.

That said, the team are fighting with Ling on their mind which is a serious handicap - especially since Lan Fan acts so irrational around him. DS could just start lobbing grenades in Ling's general direction in R1 and steal a win.

I'll say the team can kill Slade in R2 for definite though. Anybody care to make a case for 'Stroke?

I'd make the case for Slade but I'm the OP so I'm not sure if I should lol.

I say team, Lan Fan seems to move faster and Ed has his whole alchemy thing going on, the ikon suit makes it spite in favor of deathstroke

Round 1- Slade. Ed’s alchemy is really the tipping point here, and he doesn’t consistently use it intelligently enough to secure a majority IMO.

Round 2- Team. The above problem is reduced.

Leaning towards Ed's alchemy here.

Probably Slade both rounds but It'd be very close. He could certainly beat them one on one but teamwork would the hardest obstacle for him... Although I have a feeling that Slade could counter that with his superior strategy, tactic and experience.
