R1) blunt force test. R2) piercing test. R3) energy or explosion base attacks. no armor for both, who can take more??
Durability Battle: MCU Thor VS DCEU Wonder Women
Thor all three. One is tough and might change after Diana gets more feats. Though Thor has never been KOed by any blunt force attacks and he's had quite a lot of fights. We know regular earth metals are ineffective against piercing Asgardians. We all know he takes 3 though.
Considering almost every single hit that WW took in her appearances she blocked with her bracers it is hard to judge but I would say:
Thor on all 3 for now, but after November things might change but I suspect that Thor's feats in Ragnarok are going to be much more impressive considering how I have heard the movie goes.
Thor wins casually. Wonder Woman has no actual durability feats without her armor or shield. She was stunned from falling a hundred feet though.
@helaske: lol......neither does thor
@DammeFavour: So tanking the bifrost explosion was what exactly?

plus loki tanked it too and we know how little it takes to incapacitate that guy, so.....
@DammeFavour: Thor didnt have a shield and his armour did not protect his face or legs. Plus he also took a beating from Hulk and this instance even his arms were unprotected.
@brucerogers:lol.....how much do you think wonder woman's armor protect her compared to thor's more armored look? she also took a beating from ares without her shield and walked away from the doomsday's fight unscathed, can you say the same about thor?
@helaske: you can't because there isn't any
@helaske: lol you're funny, thor has no durability feat without his armor like you stated. there just isn't any
@DammeFavour: I am not saying I agree with her armour doing all the tanking but to say the same about Thor is just plain wrong too.
I dont recall Doomsday ever hitting her without her shield though.
@brucerogers: you literally imply it and his armor runs all the way to his legs too, you can see the chainmail. her face and legs are never protected. the force behind doomsday's punches don't just dissipate and they are clearly more powerful than any that thor has ever taken and been damaged by
@DammeFavour: Thor didnt have a shield and his armour did not protect his face or legs. Plus he also took a beating from Hulk and this instance even his arms were unprotected.
@DammeFavour: Not sure what you are arguing here?
@DammeFavour: I am not saying I agree with her armour doing all the tanking but to say the same about Thor is just plain wrong too.
True.
I dont recall Doomsday ever hitting her without her shield though.
I am of the opinion that she got hit with the shield at her side and not in front of her.
@batman242: I guess I need to watch the scene to confirm.
@brucerogers: i was saying your statement implied the fact that his face and arms were unarmored makes a difference
@DammeFavour: Because it does?. The fact that his face and whatever part of his body was unexposed was not squished or even all that damaged, speaks volumes about his durability.
And going by your force doesnt just dissipate logic, Thor's armour would not have completely nullified the force anyways.
@brucerogers: and i told u diana is even more exposed than that in every single one of her appearances. so...
@batman242: I guess I need to watch the scene to confirm.
No, It's pretty debatable. I drew that conclusion based on what she does once she has both her shield and sword in hand; as she is about to strike or is already in position to land a hit, she puts her shield at the side, leaving her wide open. If you re-watch just about any scene where she uses both of them, including all parts of the fight with Doomsday, she puts the shield aside. I would make GIF to compile this, but am too lazy.
@DammeFavour: Dude, why are you so eager on arguing a moot point?. I wasnt even comparing him to Diana. I was just saying that his armour does not preclude him from having durability feats.
@batman242: I see.
Thor
@DammeFavour: WW does have impressive blunt force durability but Thor has taken a beating from Kurse without being knocked out. He has also tanked a punch from Hulk, getting bull-rushed into the face of a mountain, and flying into the ground at high speeds. Based on the fact that WW hasn't tanked a single hit to the face from anyone besides Ares, Thor has better durability feats.
Go this thread for Wonder Woman durability
Thor's blunt force durability isn't extraordinarily impressive, or as good as his durability to explosions but he still has some decent feats. I think he is a bit underrated in this category. This feat impressed me where he got sent flying through a little portion of the top of a building and what looked like a couple hundred feat(at least). I wonder if someone has a Gif of this.
@beyonder97: Two of those feats weren't actual durability feats. In this one, she blocks with her bracers before it hits her.
And in this next one, she moves out of the way, that makes it a speed feat rather than a durability feat.
1. Diana. Thor get bruised by enough blunt force.
2. Toss-up. Siding with Thor on this one.
3. Thor because of feats.
Pretty much this.
Going with Diana in all three.
She has been unscathed the entire fight against Doomsday.
Piercing? Thor got pierced by a knife from LOki lol.
Energy blast? Diana easily.
