Dr. Strange vs Magik & Emma Frost

I could be wrong but doesn't Magik's sword cancel out Magical attacks

I'll back Emma & Magik in R1. Emma can keep him busy telepathically while Magik goes in for a Soul Sword attack

Strange wins R2 though.

Emma's TP ain't doing much same as her diamond form, Magik isn't getting close enough w/ SS fast enough

@koays: nope magic only managed to beat depowered Dr strange once and it was in Limbo, otherwise strange is way out of her league

@dami24434: Nope, shes curbstomped Amora in her weaker form in Limbo and her sword hard counters him. Teleport spam was fast enough to outpace Thor mid fight. Plus demon hordes and partial reality warping in limbo make it interesting.

what makes emma's TP a non-factor here?

strange is strong, but he's not winning against both Magik and Emma (he beats both individually) whom have many years of history and experience together.

he's not going to be able to immediately kick emma out of his mind as Emma is one of the top 3 (or 4 give or take) telepaths in most of marvel (barring abstracts, cosmic beings/haralds and amps) while being focused on fighting Magik (whom is formidable and deadly in her own right.) Emma hit's him with a psi blast and takes him out.

Other scenario is that Emma engages him in tp, taking most or all of his attention (and she will because she's an incredibly skilled telepath) and Magik takes him out, while he's distracted.

Magik on her own is already giving Strange a good fight.

Add in Emma frost as back up and Strange is definitely going down.

This. Magik's sword can negate practically everything Strange throws at her

@marygcrisostomo: lol noselling a nobody. simply having the mind gem doesn't make you all-power. even moondragon, an actual noteworthy telepath, has been blocked by both 90s xavier and jean while she had the mind gem

emma can hold him off telepathically (temporarily), and magik can kill his physical body either by way of emma’s distraction or by way of teleporting strange to limbo where she would effortlessly stomp him

Put Emma against HOTU Thanos to make this debatable for EmmafrostXmen.

@mandabub: i’m very realistic when it comes to emma’s capabilities. i’m the first one to say when she loses a fight, but here her defenses are strong enough to hold up for a few minutes at least which is enough time for magik to bring him to limbo and end him. emma in a coma was capable of blocking out xavier, and she’s shielded from jean in the past as well.

Although Emma's telepathic abilities are certainly remarkable, they won't be enough to beat the Sorcerer Supreme!

Here's a really nice one where he was completely immune to a Mind Stone usage on him.

That's nice and all but he is a featless person who Strange came prepared for. Meanwhile, both Xavier and Jean in the 90s have blocked the mind gem from an actual power telepath in the form of Moondragon

In fact, Dr. Strange barely won a fight against Moondragon when she had no mind gem, it was such a hard fight that after he defeated her he also fainted

He may have better feats to bring to the table than this particular one

@mandabub: that isn’t really a remarkable feat in the slightest. plus i never said emma would “beat” strange, don’t misconstrue my argument. i said she could distract him telepathically for a few minutes and i stand by that. emma being a contemporary of xavier is enough to say she can contend for a good while with the sorcerer supreme in telepathy. furthermore magik will take him to limbo with a teleport blitz and once strange is there he would be outright stomped. magik is nearly all powerful in her dimension, and she can block people from leaving so strange can’t escape. i don’t see any outcome where strange wins, magik would give him a good fight on her own with emma he goes down pretty hard.

Magik solos

Strange slaps both hard ...Magik is only known for spamming her sword and teleport, I'm actually fed up with the way writers portray her these days ,smh. If she actually decide to use her demon form and all, they may win while she distracts strange,Emma can use mind attacks to disorient him ... Otherwise if it's the every day Magik, Dr strange would be rid of her in one move and crush Emma frost with another

Strange wins here , Wong has already shown he can deal with Illyana's Sword so Strange shouldn't have any real problems dealing with it , and he has the TP to contend with if not outright beat Emma.

Looking back....the idea that Strange with knowledge resisting a featless "mind gem" was being used when he couldn't handle Moondragon without knocking himself out and Xenmu folded his classic version is kinda funny for an argument against Emma.

Still....duo take it.

Yeah Stephen Is Lol STOMPING round too. Emma isn't getting past has mental defenses before she easily gets wiped with Hax. The sword was Negated by wong so its not stopping him either.

Round one however they got a chance

Please stop with the "Soulsword Wong" nonsense people....Belasco, Doom, Amora, Mephisto and all of the other Hell lords either wanted or were shook because of Illyana and the Soulsword....BUT WONG can wave it away with a gesture.

We're not doing this.

Round 1: Is MAYBE debatable.

Round 2: Strange kicks their pretty teeth in.

If Dr. Strange can vanquish the Soul Sword as Wong did I don't see how team 2 can hold his hax off
